You have the road time lapse at just the right speed. Your narration is more eloquent than any other I've heard doing this same type of vid. Keep up the good work.
Looking back at your older videos before I go to sleep so that I sleep more relaxed with these beautiful views. 😊 You are surely not scared of heights .😁
My favorite segment of your trip thru the four corners region. We leave in late July to see capital reef, arches, canyon lands, black canyon of the Gunnison, Great sand Dunes, Mesa verde as well as Monument valley and antelope canyon. All in 10 days! Your videos have been helpful to me to plan our trip coming up this summer. I plan on shooting and editing a video from all of those stops to add too my collection here on TH-cam. Thanks so much for sharing this. looking forward too seeing you hit up more national Parks.
You are really talented at doing informative and enjoyable traveling videos, its no one like you on youtube, you are special(to the better) Thanks for sharing!
A true work of art and love. Thank you for sharing it with us. Like you, I hope that you will get a campsite in Arches next time. So beautiful. So very beautiful.
Thank you for these great videos, Robert! You have a perfect speaking tone and voice!. Thank you for all of the great shots, the background information you supply. and your entertaining sense of humor. We are going to all of the UT parks in the fall and I am taking notes and will follow your videos for each park as we travel.
You do a wonderful job of creating your videos. You have a great voice and a wonderful way of wording, and expressing yourself. You should think about doing voiceover for commercials, or documentaries!! We just sold our motorhome, and are now looking at small travel trailers such as yours to travel the country. All of us are so blessed to have such beautiful, and diverse country to travel around. Thanks for bringing us your wonderful videos!!
Thank you very much for posting! We are planning a trip to the Southwest and I find your video very informative and also very enjoyable. We have spent our lives mostly east of the Mississippi and the scenery will be very different from anything we have experienced before. It is interesting to see places that we are considering for our trip, before we actually head out . Thanks again!
Hi Robert once again an outstanding video, you shoud find a way of doing this for a living as before I now have another place to add to my bucket list.
This was wonderful Robert! Thank you so much for sharing. Hoping I can see your video about the Four Corners meeting point also, since my teenage nephew Patrick Johnson lives on the reservation near there. I hope to visit him someday but meanwhile it is nice to know what the terrain and environment look like.
Robert, I had to laugh at 6:00 when you said balanced rock is safe to walk beneath because it's been there a long time. Ha! That doesn't mean it won't bonk you on the head a minute from now! Love all your videos. They are really well done!
I really enjoy your videos. It gave me great traveling location ideas. Because of your videos I went to Arizona, then on way way home drove through Utah, route 128! Google map recommended it. Yes, the more you drive the prettier it became. It was rather desolate like first 100-150 miles. I don't think I seen anyone or an Osmond in sight. Now going to Arches Park and Moab in April .
Did you hear me scream NOOOO when you turned back on the way to Double O? I think it is truly one of the most beautiful hikes in the park. I did both Delicate Arch and Double O in one day and I was truly exhausted so I understand . If you ever get here again it’s worth it. Also Canyonlands is worth a day or two. Your description of the trail to Delicate Arch is spot on.
Hey Travelling Robert, While doing some research for an upcoming trip very similar to what you did (minus the RV and in almost reverse order) I stumbled upon your great videos, This one in particular has a specific part that made me freeze-frame it for a moment and it's where you're walking up to Delicate Arch and are talking to the camera. You're wearing an Arecibo Observatory shirt!! Which I found pretty awesome since I happen to live like 25 minutes from it in the town of Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Great coincidence!! BTW you're videos might be 4years old but still gave me some great info on some of the sites. Thanks.
I just made this drive today! Amazing. In Moab now going to Arches tomorrow. Very busy so going EARLY! Gonna go back and hike the Fischer towers trail and check out the horseback riding there on the way back to grand junction to fly home.
The la sal mountains had a lot of snow still on them so the pics were amazing to see everything normal (like in your vid) and the snow in background. Incredible. Went to the double o Arches and the slim arch that looks like it was about to collapse. Watching your videos Def made me want to take this trip thanks Robert!
I’m trying to figure out where to fly into and rent a car so I can see this place and other things within a days drive or so. For a 2-3 day trip I’m wondering if monument valley/valley of the gods is where I should go, or if I can see this place and those places. Beginning to plan now I’m going late March
My wife and I were able to visit the Arches National Park August of last year. I just wished I was able to hike to the Delicate Ark all the way up close. My wife has a knee problem and I could not leave her alone for a long time.
Yes, all that good stuff, and Monument Valley too. I am uploading each day separately because doing the whole 10 days in one video would take a long time to edit and over an hour to watch. Look for Mesa Verde video in a week or two.Thank you!
TravelingRobert Thanks, looking forward to all of your videos. I posted this comment when i thought the video was ended, my bad, also rewatching the video showing your trip, i got the answers i needed... That's why i edited the message... Next time i'll make sure to watch all of your videos till the end, before asking something :D
this is a stunning video....no sound on for me...been thru there a few times with relatives from Arizona....we're in N.Y. love red rock country. @irene..
You must have entered the park on a holiday (July 4th based on July 14 published date)? I have been to the park about 8 times since 1987, and almost always I was the only car at the entrance! Once in the park I don't recall more than half a dozen cars at the off road view points. The campgrounds near the end were almost full, but I have never the crowds you saw. I went in the fall (which is popular) and in the winter (not so much). My favorite places to drives are the back roads of Utah. Except for I-15 you can put a map of Utah up, and throw a dart hitting some state road. I'll take it!
Thank you. Unfortunately not retired yet but I'd love to do this for a living. I would be able to make a lot more videos. There's never enough time to travel.
We are planning on taking a family trip and have watched many of your videos, they are very informative! Thank you so much! I was wondering what cameras you film with, and how long did the hike to the Arch was? Thanks again!!
Love the video! We are going on a trip this September. From Denver to Zion National Park. Would you recommend stopping at Arches along the way? Is 1-2 hours enough time?
Hey thanks! I definitely recommend Arches but 1-2 hours is definitely not enough unless all you want to do is take a drive around and get back on the road. I'd say you need at least 5. Hey enjoy. It is a great trip.
Double arche? You mean an ancient McDonald’s? Wow I though some guy clowning around made it up....haha, I would love to head that way(maybe in the winter when it’s a lot cooler
Rent costs about $200 a day after everything. We also put more miles on the RV than what was included, but that's a rough estimate + gas. 7 miles per gallon
Perfect place to sit around a campfire eating baked beans and farting up dust devils. Did you take a rifle or handgun along with you? great place for some target practice.
Your voice and narration style is amazing - only beaten by Sir David Attenborough. you really should get in touch with an agent and get a career doing voice overs.

I went from Kentucky to the grand canyon, trip was amazing

Fantastic channel..great videos.
Thank you!
My wife and I were able to visit the Arches National Park August of last year. I just wished I was able to hike to the Delicate Ark all the way up close. My wife has a knee problem and I could not leave her alone for a long time.
You could have done it in an hour and half....fast but at least you would have hiked it..and seen it close up..tough going up...but well worth it
Another video full of what made you a great channel!

I was early June. I don't know why it was so busy, but it was. Finding parking at the Delicate Arch trail was short of a miracle.
This video brought you one more subscriber. Me. Good stuff. Driving and documentary mix. Nice channel.
I really enjoyed this video, I am planning a road trip this summer. By the way, your voice is perfect for documenting 👍🏼
This guy has a great voice, so rich and interesting.
I took this hike a week ago! It was indeed hard, but it was definitely worth it for the Arch and view.
Joseph Carroll Oh yeah, it is a great hike, hard but worth it. Can't wait to do it again.
Nice video. Subscribed. Do you happen to have a route map for your trip?
scenic hwy 128 fabulous drive...along Colorado River
Love your videos. always good quality. You must be retired? I can't wait till I have more time for travel!
Thank you. Unfortunately not retired yet but I'd love to do this for a living. I would be able to make a lot more videos. There's never enough time to travel.
So gorgeous, did you like the larger 28' RV better?
Actually I did. Much more confortable inside and you get used to driving it after a couple of hours.
I was so entertained by this!
That's great, thank you!
Superb video!
Thank you!

Great video. Buck
Leslie Buckwalter Thank you!
Another Great Video Robert, One question are there any RV height, weight or length restrictions enroute to the Arches National Park.
+Max1Chase1 I don't think there are any height restrictions, but I think you should be less than 30 feet long, especially if you want to camp there.
Thanks keep traveling safe.
waiting for that canyonlands trip video to drop some year soon....
Nice trip! Love your Tshirt...! Arecibo Observatory, Puerto Rico.... Greetings from Puerto Rico! =)

@@TravelingRobertHello Robert. From what City you started this trip
@@giosarres3167 We rented the RV in Denver.
Love the video! We are going on a trip this September. From Denver to Zion National Park. Would you recommend stopping at Arches along the way? Is 1-2 hours enough time?

Thanks, Robert. We are going to take the scenic drive. I would regret it if I didn't at least see it while in Utah!

You're welcome.
I'd be kind of cross driving that 28 ft RV! :) Hate large vehicles!
It wasn't that bad, but yeah. I would have preferred something smaller too.
How much did the rent cost you & how that work?
Rent costs about $200 a day after everything. We also put more miles on the RV than what was included, but that's a rough estimate + gas. 7 miles per gallon
