Some killer animals Garrick! My only visual male clown is a pastel clown combo. This should be my first year to produce visual clowns ever! I'm pretty amped! Thank you for showing them all off.
My bf & I will have some eggs laid in 1 week; our first clown hets using a male Spotnose Clown to a Firefly YB OD female. We’re going to have one helluva time trying to figure out which to hold back as all the morphs have their merits in clown! All stunning representations.
Even with pastel, possibly especially with pastel, the better quality you keep in your collection the better the offsprings will be every generation. You have some stunning pastel clown combos. I've started with what I felt were highest quality pastel clowns I've ever seen and they both stayed very high yellow and gold, no browning...the babies were phenomenal from the mother. I'm wondering if people simply hear they brown out over time and really want longevity of color in their colored morphs. Who knows...Hopefully itll swing back to being more accepted in clown.
I defiantly Want pastel in my clowns but I already bought the pastel gene I wanna use, so thats the only factor that makes be aviod pastel in clown, then again Im starting from hets
That’s what I’ve been saying. Also white lace and puzzle go great with pastel. And tri stripe pastels are clean too from what I’ve seen. Pastel is going to make a comeback with DG for sure since DG kind of washes orange and red colors which sucks but that just means that yellow genes like pastel will shine again.
like most genes, there are differing qualities of Pastel. we’ve noticed them. even as babies they hardly look Pastel. you’ve gotta find a quality line of Pastel.
cool snakes no doubt, but if you show the same snakes without the pastel, the non pastel version beats all of them inmy opinion.each his own i guess.greetins
Clowns are one of the main genes I focus on, so most of my nicest snakes are clown combos. I work with a lot of pieds, genetic stripes, albinos, and bananas, too, as well as a lot of others. It is just hard to come up with new stuff to show at this time of year with few or no babies hatching. I'll be showing all kinds of stuff during the hatching season. If there is anything in particular you want to see, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I'm always looking for new video ideas!

The pastel clown hate all comes from people parroting information and not from actual experience with the combo.
Cool video but…seems like the camara man knows how to change filters in order to make the colors more intense and “not” what they actually are.
