Sindhu Bhairavi is identified as the janya of 10th Mela Nataka Priya Raag. The origin is from Bhairav raag in Hindustani evoking a happy and pleasant emotion to the listener. Being a nerve soother, this raag can cure headache, back ache and chest pain almost instantly.
After a brief introduction of the raag, the second segment if the show starts with a soporific aalap rendition and the fmous krithi, 'Venkatachala Nilayam' song composed by Purandara Dasar in Adi thalam.
