If you have been to Kolkata and visited Chhota Bristol (Shaw Brother), Mumbai has a similar bar , though much smaller. Called Capitol Bar, bang opposite CSTM station and next to Mac Donald’s. 2002- It was one of the first bar there to have a Jukebox. Now of course it’s way past it’s prime... and one the very few bars where u pay first :) ... and of course no Jukebox anymore :(
Chhota Bristol (Shaw Brother) is ♥️♥️. Love the old days, watch a match at Mohun Bagan ground in the evening, post that go to Shaw for beers. Don't know if the old atmosphere is still there ! But one of my favourite bars in the entire world
Very enjoyable. Great hosts, lots of laughs. Interesting insights and trivia by the bar owners. Used to visit a lot of Shetty bars when I working my first job in Bombay and couldn't afford anything else, haha. Miss those days. Ghetto brought back some really fun memories. Keep at it, guys.

That Tequila Sunrise used to be a old bar run by a parsi old man. I dunno if these are the new owners. Sad to see the old world charm get replaced by a more commercial venture.
This video reminded me of my Mumbai days and the bars there. The pubs and bars in Mumbai are quite different and affordable compared to those in Chennai and Hyderabad. Gosh!! I missing hanging out with friends at bars, bitching about work-life, college life, random shit, and getting drunk
i do certainly have a local favourite bar which is just pure comfort and where i have made friends as well over the years, but i do agree it is somewhat dying out with the millennials and gen z`s.
