I take the Ford Fiesta ST180 to a track day at Oulton Park, I ended up nearly crashing into the back of a Porsche #Ford #FordPerformance #GripperDiff #RaceCar #FordFiesta #TrackCar #GarageBuild #OultonPark
Yeah man, I sorted that boost leak it was a vacuum pipe, I have sorted the bolts that were loose and will give it another shake down, then I think it’s ready to for some serious track action
Great video, small leak but thats a track car being a track car for you and all part of the fun. the tyres are talking alot.. only looks and sounds like the cars after a AR1 or better TW100 tyre to iron out some understeer.
Hi Steve, I have just put an aggressive tarmac gripper differential in and it was 100 times better, I think I had lowering springs at this point too but now have BC Racing RM series coilovers, it’s coming together 🚗💨
Nice dude, what Zestino tyres you running? Great that they have lasted that long. def a marshal at fault for letting a car out when that Porsche was about to pass. That could have been nasty!
I have the Zestino Gredge medium compound, they have lasted and are grey tyres but to get faster I need sim better tyres Be interested to try the soft compound but for the price they are a good tyres
@E11evens I have been advised to run them but I am on 17s and year are pricey, it was those or AR1s I was considering. The other option is full blown slicks
@BaguettesandASBOs A052 are great around. It'll save you buying dry and wets 😉 Full slicks you need soooo much heat to get them tacky it'd be a waste I think man
John has been grafting in the Clio in the background, hopefully it will be ready for a shake down at Oulton next month but it’s a big ask. Once we have the Clio driving and stopping under its own power we have a few small projects to move on to and we will be making plans for next year 💪🏽
That Porsche 😅😅😅
Looks like a mega track Oulton Park
Yeah it’s good fun mate
@ it’s a fair way to travel but I think next year I’ll have to give it a try
@scottadcock4470 let us know if you decide to get on and we will try and book too
@@BaguettesandASBOs deffo , need someone to show me the way round 😂
Sounds like a plan
Get it to the ring Matt

Yeah, it’s on the to do list still. Need a bit of maintenance and a new set of treads ready for new year

It’s back next week mate 🚗💨
Defo taking the Escort over the Porker
Well done, you're close to under 2 mins which if you can sort the understeer out you should do easily.

@BaguettesandASBOs ah fair one dude. I had A052 with my clio rs200 but are a tad pricey 🙈

Do either of you have a race license or are you planning to?
I have my clubman licence, so I can hopefully do time attack this year but it all depends on finances
@@BaguettesandASBOs time attack where?
I would probably just do Oulton and or Cadwell as I could afford to do all tracks, most people competing are sponsored who compete
Seen as though it’s just you running the channel now can we vote on a name change

@Itspeene Mike has bowed out, just me and Jet set John now
What do you mean a name change haha. I’m still here doing all the tedious last bits that seem to take longer than the big jobs haha.
@@BaguettesandASBOs has he thrown the towel in
do you think you can fit 16"? I bought the same brake kit
You can with spacers I think
A lad I know is running 15s with spacers on these
