Mowing 3rd Cut Hay and Other Jobs on a Small Dairy Farm

- I had some troubles with my camera so this video is a little mixed. First you can see me mowing and tedding 3rd cut of grass for hay. We stored it the next day.
The next clip is after a couple of days when we were placing some old concrete slabs over a ditch to widen entry in our silos. Then we prepared our single row corn chopper as we soon ran out of corn silage and started feeding fresh corn. We planted corn one month later this year so it isn't ripe enough for silage.
I used frontloader to push remaining silage on a pile so that we could load it with our feeding wagon.
In the next clip I took our John Deere with Farmtech trailer and went to the store to get 4 bigbags of dry corn.
At the end you can see some afternoon milking.

Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I want to share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia.
We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M.
We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn.
We also have 7 hectares of forest.

As always dude well done, shame about running out of corn silage but it happens
We got our oats and barley harvested last week. Oats had the worst yield in over 20 years and barley had the worst yield in over 30 years. Also we got only one cutting of grass this year although we got enough hay and silage from it. 2021 hasn't been a good year.

Imamo ja, druga košnja je bila slaba, tretja je bila še kar, smo mislili, da bo četrte košnje več pa bo zgleda še manj kot druge... 🙄 😐 Koruza je pa tudi bolj podpovprečna 🙃
