Thank you I bought all the LED lights and my Camaro looks ever better, I get many compliments for the Fog lights, they match the Halo DRLs and HIDs flawlessly, thanks again for the great video.
Some years ago I changed the DLR lights of my 2012 SS to led lights and they are so bright, its awsome. They came with the harness to delete the DRL function and leave them as fog lights but decided not to install it for one reason: they are so bright that if you keep them on at night it will bother oncaming traffic massively and I don´t think that is the right thing to do to fellow drivers. I hate when you cross someone at night that is using bright led lights, is annoying and is also dangerous. Tthat´s why I use mines only as DLR, out of respect for them and for safety reasons.
I'll say. I have a 2010 camaro. Its victory red. And honestly I like the offset of the amber tinted fog lamps with the HID headlights. Sets off the red on black. Still looks good though.
The license plate light emitting diodes modification causes the computer to register lower voltage than nominal on the ZL1 because they use less electricity; consequently, the "Service StabiliTrak" message accompanied by an annoying chime will show up in the driver information center every time. Also the computer will set a permanent code which will then need to be cleared with external software. Not a good modification to make.
Hello again. Back for another small question....have you ever driven your Camaro in snow of any kind? Here in the southern end, we get a lot of snow. Just curious if you had some kind of experience with the vehicle in it. I’m still in the convincing stage with the wife. Trying to prove to her that it IS a practical vehicle. Not just a “super fast car that’s going to be my end”.
vettefreakXXII I have driven it in the snow before, it isn’t the best experience. You just have to take it slow like any rwd car! It is doable though depending on the conditions. A good set of tires definitely improve the situation.
I have a 2010 SS 2ss , ls3 manual .y car is AMAZING I'm the snow ! I was very , very surprised ! Maybe cause it's a manual and it's heavy , idk, but it ran great in unpaved snow and ice , I didnt get stuck once I'm implowed roads either . The car went right thru it like it was a 4wd !atne cause I started off on second and it has position traction , the car pulled very nicely right thru the snow and on ice . Had it up to over 40 mph on the roads and I was passing cars and trucks with it also. Idk how the auto does, but the manual goes right thru it cause you can select your gears to help you along . I use good year eagle sport tires , of other had snow tires it would have been AMAZING !
Well, my 2010 SS is horrible in snow. Actually couldn't drive it since wouldn't even go a foot, but I have uhp tires that are summer only. Even on ice it's scarey. But in summer can take corners really fast with zero slide.

finger lickins I like the body style of the 5th gen more than the 6th gen (personal preference). Unless you are looking for a specific color than I would definitely look at the 2013s. They have a little more options than the 2010. The reason I went for the 2010 was for the ABM paint color
My 2010 has been flawless, I have cold air intake, long tube headers, full exhaust and high flow cats, custom tune. Never had a single issue, never went in for any warranty work. You can find parts cheap now like long tubes, spoilers etc.
James Hurt check out diode dynamics! They offer a multicolor halo led board, which allows you too change the color of your halos any color you’d like. The install looks fair simple too, other then you have to open you headlight housings. I have been looking into them and might do the install in the future.
Just a FYI, doing that would be highly illegal here in the US as colored headlights are used by emergency vehicles and therefore the ticket is harsh. Not worth it IMO. Just a heads up - but if you do plan on it, Diode Dynamics or Phastek Performance has you covered.
Fantastic looking car! I have a small inquiry regarding your Camaro if you don't mind my asking ^_^ So, I have been car shopping for a couple months, narrowed it down to a couple vehicles. One being something like yours, "2010ish" Camaro, or a similar Subaru Impreza/WRX (NOT Sti). Personally? I'm leaning more towards the Chevy. Basically the same mpg as the WRX if not a little better........and from a massive, albeit a small block V8 with more than twice the displacement! Seriously Subaru? I am concerned about the back seats though. Not that many people would be riding in the back, it's just my wife and I for now. How tall are you? If I were to sit in the back seat of the camaro, my head would be pretty close to the head liner, but the seats are fairly comfortable. Would I sit in the back on a long trip? Probably not. Gas mileage. In the Subaru I averaged between 20-23mpg with a mix of highway/city driving. In the camaro if I drive it nicely the best I’ve gotten is 19.7. I probably average 17mpg with mixed driving. These numbers are subject to your driving patterns and the mods you have done. Both cars are nice and I think you’d enjoy either one. Duane Scott yes the DRL’s are the HP48! I still like the HP5 map lights but they are really bright. Not very subtle when on! If you want something that is SUPER bright then I’d go with those, but if not then you’ll be fine with the next lumens down. Hope this helps!

Jesus Cardenas generally you can’t lease used cars, unless they’re luxury or exotic cars. When they do allow it, it generally doesn’t financially make sense for the buyer. This is because your monthly payment for a 48 month loan is often way less than the monthly payment for the 36-39 month used lease. I love Camaros, and just bought a ‘15 this past weekend. Hope you find what you’re looking for!
J Pugh between everything I think I paid around $85. The lights were all ordered through diode dynamics and the harness through amazon. Have experienced no issues and everything works great! With the harness the drls are always on. I was thinking about looking into wiring a switch in the near future.
Mine are the factory vinyl option. I am kind of wanting them off as well since they are slowly fading throughout the years. The only thing that I am worried about and read on the forums is that when you remove them, the paint underneath is still fresh (no scratches or anything). Also there might be an outline of where the stripes once were. I am sure with a nice detail it would probably come out.
Just got my stripes off after 11 years , careful work patients, and a little help from a heat gun. The sooner you get it off the easier it will come off.
Christopher Hesano if you have drls it allows them to be on full time versus just on when the headlights are on. So you could have the fogs “drls” on, even with the headlights off.
Awesome ABM Camaro. Did you know there's actually a Facebook group for all aqua blue metallic Camaros? You shoud check it out some time. We are in search for our other aqua blue brothers and sisters! m.facebook.com/groups/BlueFreedomABMowners/
Louie Dakamseh I have had the diode dynamics bulbs for almost a year now with no issues. I have also used their products on other vehicles in the past and never had a burn out problem. I would recommend purchasing your bulbs through diode dynamics. Their bulbs come with a 3 year limited replacement warranty so if it’s a manufacture defect they will replace. Just so you know, I am in no way affiliated with diode dynamics and I’m not getting paid to make this video/say this. Just feel like they make a really good products and will continue to use them. Hope this helps.
MartiArtisan tbh I’m impressed it’s a well made car. Good power and handles great. I will remove my clutch spring because the clutch is kind of weird. But other than that it’s a great car.
Not to sound like a dick but why does everyone always open up a box on the hood of the car even a little movement of the cardboard box can cause scratches in the paint I guess I'm just more pickier than most people
I agree they are very bright. Honestly I was really surprised and impressed when I got them. The quality and light output is top notch, to say the least!

What's that bright thing in the sky of Oregon?
I’m not sure 🤔
Look at that, 2017 FAR AIM.
I mean they are not really mods
That harness goes to both fog lights or only one?
Jhon Gia you only need one harness for it work with both drl fogs
Which one did you get for the map that ones bright!
I got the HP5 bulb for the map lights! They are very bright, almost too bright!
MartiArtisan Awesome thanks !
No problem!
The DRL harness didn't work for my european 2013 Camaro SS... :(
Im sorry to hear that! I wonder what is different about the European vs US models
I know we have xenon headlights, instead of HID... I wish I would find the picture I took back then to show you the harness...
17.2 mpg on a v8 bruh I’m getting 15.9
Supreme Yarok dude I get 12.7 mpg. I don’t know why
I get 8 👀 I may be modded tho
does anyone know what those halos are called that he has in the vid?
Alison Alan they are the oem factory hid headlights that come with halos.
Can i do mine on a camaro 2010 RS?
Yes
Still confused about the harness...What does it do?
Christopher Hesano if you have drls it allows them to be on full time versus just on when the headlights are on. So you could have the fogs “drls” on, even with the headlights off.
@@MartiArtisan I have an RS and it appears that they do that already. I wish there was a way I can make them switchable as fog lights
What type of head light bulbs do you have?
james Gonzalez I just have the factory headlight bulbs!
james Gonzalez I have the stock yellow b.s. lights lol
Was going to get the led lights but I stuck with all stock. Get getting rid of the car soon it has 87,000 miles on a 2012 already
Is this a hot wheels edition ?
zBlacklist No. It’s a 2010 in aqua blue with the SLP wheels, same wheels that come on the hot wheels

Do I need the harness if I own a 2015
Joseph Calabrese No this harness is just for 5th gens 2010-2013
do I have to buy two harnesses or just one and which side should be if only one
You only need to buy one harness and it will be located on the passenger side
I hear it a lot of problems with bulb burn out fast do u have any problems if not, please which brand should I buy
Basicly 😂😂😂😂 gooooooodnesssssss
Have a question? Feel free to ask it below!!
MartiArtisan do i need a harness for each side? Or just one for the passengers side?
El JERO you only need one harness!
MartiArtisan thank you sir. Just got my camaro 2 days ago and I’m doing the basic mods
El JERO no problem! That’s awesome, how do you like it so far?
MartiArtisan tbh I’m impressed it’s a well made car. Good power and handles great. I will remove my clutch spring because the clutch is kind of weird. But other than that it’s a great car.
Do you just need one harness for the drls or 2?
TheClownPrince of Reviews just one!
