I think he should keep the ring and acknowledge that it is okay to periodically splurge on something tangible. I do understand that the IPad may be more useful if he chooses to use it for work and school. I see one thing you all love most are experiences and don’t mind bending the budget to enjoy those things together as best friends/couple. Love these check in videos.

I think you deserved the ring. When I got my new ring my spouse updated their's as well. We have silicone rings for daily use and our expensive rings are kept in the case that we wear on special occasions

I'd take the ring back. I lose jewelry also. I won't spend more than 20 dollars on a wedding band. I love these conversations! It's nice to see couples do what we (my husband and I) do every month. Our roles are the opposite. My husband is you, Shay LOL. When I go to take a shower as long as hot water comes out the faucet and the savings keep growing, I'm good. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
