That quote at the end was taken out of context, he was asked about the strange way his shots looked. He said that he doesn’t think about it during the match and he’s just trying to get the ball back but he think what am I doing when he watches himself.
I like his personality very genuine and honesty , straightforwardness and I love his interviews ,press conferences.
Also, winning a title gives Daniil a confidence boost to win more titles, as we saw with his 4 out of 5 title run in February/March
He is clearly No. 3 at the moment, rankings just need to catch up.
