The penalty system is seriously demented.
That's because executives of software companies and their retarded fanbase think penalizing is bad and ramming is fun.
This game just sucks really

The player "AugustoCesar579" is a good example of the penalty system needs a rework. Bro cut all corners off track with full speed and rammed into another car, with ZERO time penalty

It makes perfect sense. After playing forza 4 this seems like the kind of terrible coding they would implement.
The other driver probably wasn't even ramming him from his pov, looks like desync issue from client to client and the server didn't even registered it as a collision.
It's so common to see lesser drivers resort to ramming faster drivers.

Watching your videos of these lobbies only make me more hesitant to hop in. I Love rivals cuz I can focus on learning corners and lines without having to worry about other cars, but also wheel to wheel is so fun when people aren’t sabotaging everyone else’s race.

You should scroll down the Results Page so we can see everybody's time penalties. Pretty sure someone may have gotten 10 seconds in penalties.
If you hit 10s in penalties you get auto kicked from the lobby.

Eu ainda não consigo entender o por que da turn 10 Studio não manter o carro em modo fantasma nas curvas ou na largada, como faz a play ground games com a franquia Forza Horizon. Acho ridículo a turn 10 Studio tentar adotar esse conceito de corridas realistas com possibilidade prejudicar o carro rival, em meio a essa população doente e egoísta, o certo é carros invisíveis em determinados momentos.

Goes off track by a couple cm. 1s penalty, gets rammed, rammer doesn’t get penalised whatsoever but you get a 1.4s penalty.
At least you finished on the podium but I keep wondering, what do the rammers gain by doing this? Sooner or later another player will do the same.

I love the videos. Shame this is such a common thing. Finding a league has been the best thing. However, a bit of feedback, what did you expect when you enter the braking zone? @5:58 Your car is built for top end speed. Part of me feels like its your responsibility to get off the racing line if you have to brake so early. The FRS behind you had to check up because of the extreme early braking zone you needed and the NSX behind him didn''t have time to react.
That being said, as always love the videos!
That particular timestamp ISAF had actually slowed down enough to avoid getting completely thrown out of the way by the ram- I'd hazard a guess that most of the time it's just benefit of the doubt/not caring from the inevitability of ramming

This game is completely unplayable online. You get more much severe penalties for going off track by 1cm that gains little to no time than ramming someone off the track.
