I still remember watching this stuff and having my mind blown out of my skull from trying to understand how Karl thinks. There is an episode where he talks about having gone to the beach with a mate, and that they laid out their towels and bags on the only in the spot with any trash on the entire beach. When asked why the hell they set up camp there he responds with something like: "That's how you know it's the best spot innit? That's where there's been people.". I was rolling on the floor gasping for air when he said that.

I thought Karl was a character at first and though he is an amazing character actor and hilarious. Then I realised that he was just being real and he is incredibly insight full but almost childlike in his outlook. One of my favourite people on the planet. National treasure but he isn’t on TV much anymore. Thank you Ricky for giving him the platform and sharing him with us.
Not going out is a British sitcom from the bbc it's very funny written by its main star Lee mack who also does stand up comedy, my fave stand up comedian was George Carlin followed closely by Robert schimmell and not forgetting Sam kinnison,
