Dee Snyder: "We're not gonna take it....Until we do"
Were not gonna fake it anymore
Its hilarious seeing dee snider telling someone they are "an embarrassment" on the metal community. Like really dude? You must have avoided mirrors most of your life.
All of this over Jon just shoving a guard.
Gotta love the judicial system. Jon had nothing to apologize for.
right? How dare the man actually live up to his words - see Sons of Liberty.
Uh... wait. He's just having his court appearance now? Wasn't Jan 6 four years ago? I thought the Sixth Amendment is all about speedy and public trials?
@@mementomori845 I think he had the date pushed back. In most cases it is advantageous for the defendant to have the trial occur as far after the event as possible. If you are out on bail, there is no real reason to have the trial right away anyways, especially when the incident has been sensationalized by media as much as it has.
Very disadvantageous for him to argue his case before another election. And at the time, I'll bet he had a hard time finding competent council, given all the heat the leftists were bringing on everyone of that profession that was representing Trump supporters.
The great Norm Macdonald was still with us 😢
Thats how long it had been.
He should have never been jailed to begin with. That said, im glad there is at least a sliver of justice left to grant him his god given rights.
I think they are afraid at this point, if it was a sentance and Trump got elected as it seems the judge would have been the one behind bars later.
I still wouldn't call this "a sliver of justice". The bare minimum of justice would require he be paid handsomely for his troubles (rather than fined) and the prosecutors would be in prison.
If he should never have been jailed, then this isn't justice. Especially since he still needed to admit fault. Justice would be no prison time at all. Or at the very least an apology by the government and a monetary pay out for wrong doing. Since that's not happening, there is no justice.
@@ericmcmanus5179
Justice would demand that those responsible receive his punishment, while being forced to pay him handsomely for what he wrongfully endured at their hands.

Bro, Days of Purgatory is an absolute chug fest. Most of the discography is tbh.
@hamnuts7239 absolutely
I think people underestimate the impact Schaffer had on metal guitar as a whole - he basically pioneered a bunch of techniques that are STILL on the cutting edge of rhythm guitar pyrotechnics - gallups, true triplets, syncopation, etc
A majority of these Jan. 6 trials will get overturned in appeal but not receive justice for the crimes committed against them.
To open the doors to let people in..is entrapment.
Not even, because that place is open to the public. No entrapment needed, just lie.

Unlike j6, his death was an actual national tragedy.

The judge served justice. The DOJ need to be dismantled. Last I checked, the KKK hasn't gotten away with lynching anyone since the 1970s.

Nothing has been more disappointing to me than seeing the so-called rebels of yesterday becoming flaccid tools of the state after getting success. THAT deserves a rant
This and realizing everyone in Hollywood is a compromised pervert and related to one another...
It starts with a person's IQ and critical thinking skills. Sadly Snyder probably bought into the media narrative that Jan 6th was an insurrection attempt by an election loser and he was doing the right thing rebelling against a supposed illegal power grab; when in reality he's too dumb (years of downers/opioids?) to recognize Trump had nothing to do with that rally that the left turned into a political assasiinatin attempt with 100s of patriotic americans as collateral damage
Kinda like trump crying at the wall, reducing MAGA to a mere slogan while all his efforts go towards benefiting the jews whose NGOS import those things you call "migrants" and push destructive propaganda in Hollywood and all media, silence any and all criticism of their actions on 99% of all human communication platforms. If only you knew how many people actually know about the jews, you'd realize that Trump has already been outpaced by his original supporters. He was useful at first. Now he is a subverted puppet and he's gonna drag your kids into dying for israel, just like Iraq /Afghanistan. "An attack on israel is an attack on america!" Why are all republicans talking like this now? Get a clue. He's not your friend, just like Abbott is not your friend, just like Elon Musk is not your friend.
I’ve met Schaffer. He’s a good man. I’m looking forward to him channeling some serious metal out of this.
Funny. Every one of those charges themselves sounds like an infringement on basic rights. Oh wait, funny isn’t the right word…
I've told this story before but Once when i was a 18 year old guitar hanging out after hours at my local music store. Jon and his band walked in to buy something for a tour they were on. I was did not know who he was and he was waiting for the owner to return from the back. He heard me playing guitar and he said what song is that Dokken or something? I said no it's something i wrote he said well it kicks ass keep at it. The man was very chill and when the owner said sorry were out of that. He said thanks for your time. Told me to keep playing guitar and left made me wanna keep going to this day.

In all fairness, I don’t think for a second he should have to put this all behind him. He has every right to come out, and his concerts and trash these people and make songs about them and just raise awareness, but that’s his decision.

Insurrection typically doesn't involve walker-wielding meemaws
Some federal judge who has integrity needs to vacate these convictions/plea deals if that's possible. Then Trump needs to abolish the FBI, a criminal organization worse than any it supposedly pursues.
I would say reform rather than abolish. The FBI on paper does great things like going after CP. The problem is the administrative level where they are highly politicized. Restructuring to blanket purge the administrative and bureaucratic bloat of the FBI while keeping the guys who would actually go after criminals but aren't allowed to would be the best outcome.

Damn, we got Christmas right after Halloween!
After looking into the legality of things with my husband (who's a police lieutenant), it seems that we don't have an actual legal definition of what an insurrection actually is. Meanwhile congress or the President can pretty much label whatever they want as an insurrection and use deadly force against their own citizens for it.
Well, if you are working against the state, the state will call it an insurrection. Even if it's entirely justified.
Vague definitions of scary words is a standard jewish deception tactic. Lets them change what they were saying after the fact if some flaw in their lie is uncovered. All the -isms, anti- and -phobia words are designed in this way, for example.
