Thanks.....just bought a single DIN stereo and a single DIN cubby tray for the Avensis.....this video saved me from the inevitable mangling of the fascia and dash pads....cheers.
Thanks a million for this video! It helped me today when I wanted to check the reason for very poor and mostly non-existent sound. If any sound, then from one of the four speakers only. I wanted to see if I would find any visible loose connections, which I didn't. However, after disconnecting all plugs and cleaning them (fine sandpaper slip on a tiny stick) , including all sockets, the sound is now perfect from all speakers. I was prepared to take the next step and aquire another unit, but luckily I didn't have to. I would never have had a clue where to begin, if it weren't for your video, so THANK YOU!!! I encourage everybody to check and clean all connections before disposing of a unit which is not performing. Greetings from Pargas, Finland
Very useful guide. My car is going to the junk yard because it's not safe on the road anymore. But there is a LCD type DAB-radio I don't want to give away to the "money makers" at the recycling place. I will get some money for the car anyway, and find it a hassle to sell it for hardly any more than what the scavengers normally offers you. Having a sick family member and that adds to the unwillingness to advertise the car as a junk project
Very clear and concise video. However the end is a bit abrupt. It would have been nice to see you put it all back and display the working with the new fasia but thanks
Thanks for posting this - I have just changed my CD player - this was really invaluable, would’ve ended in disaster without the hints and tips - really appreciate this help 😊
Where is the rest of the video :( great video but stops at the point of fitting the the new stereo into the cage. I would like to see the wiring and fitting the new stereo back in.
Your video is very useful but there's a problem I'm facing after installing the OEM Radio there a gap between the Radio and the side plastic that you pointing at 4:06 so I fix that gap
I have changed my old head unit to OEM B9010 one and my steering wheel controls stopped working... I just wanted to ask is there a fuse I might have burnt?
@@PJsprojects This video ends part way through! You need to reload it, to show the installation of the Connects2 wiring and steering control adapters. Then show the new system working.

My car has a light on the passenger button. And there is a warning sound when driving. What should I do? and what happened
I have changed my old head unit to OEM B9010 one and my steering wheel controls stopped working... I just wanted to ask is there a fuse I might have burnt?
Nope sadly not, steering controls work on a resistive circuit so the control is either not getting a signal or has simply worn out.
Hi, please, does anybody know which type of bolt is there? I think it is Torx? Thank you for any advice :)))
you should start doing tyson fury impressions haha
How do I locate the radio amplifier for avensis 2003 model
Since I am recycling my car tomorrow. Can the climate control unit be used as a computer (tower PC) fan control unit or something? 😁
While anything is possible it’s not really worth it.
Video cuts out 8mins 15 secs into it, is there a 2nd video?
Anything is possible but you may need to extend the radio wires and make a custom mounting solution.
Thank you
Are able to do a video on how to hardwire a dash cam on a avensis 2009 please
Thx mate!!!
OK but how about the aux
No wiring guide?
This is a removal guide with general advice, no wiring guide included.
What if you have scratched the interior I have anyfix??
No real fix sadly other than replace the parts that are scratched.
Where's the rest of the video?
guoitdreuy Is the video not fully playing for you?
PJs projects It stops at 8.15 in mid sentence. Great video though I'm sure I would have ended up scratching my dash.
PJs projects hey man, video cuts out at 00:08:15 when you are in the middle of saying and screwing in the new radio. Is that really the end?
@@PJsprojects I'm also looking for the fitting instructions of the new sterero and wheel control wiring please
