That third one is stunning! I love the baby blue body! I wish I had come across a fish like that back when I was doing Koi. I had a gold female butterfly with the aror plating down ger spine and the longest butterfly fins! She was stunning. Pearl Gold body with metallic gold armoring. She just reflected gold in the sun light. You could see her glowing in the tank, even with the lights out. All it took was the smallest bit of moonlight for her to reflect! She was one of my prize fish! I bought her at a pet store for $9. In 1996.

They look like they fell from the sky…on a clear light blue day…we were going to build a pond but I became quite I’ll and severely disabled so no jobs, no koi, but I vicariously enjoy through videos like this.

Beautiful Koi! I'm intrigued by your above ground pond. Mine is partially above ground, but only because I'd lost too much depth once I put the underlayment, liner and rocks down. I had to build up the sides with landscaping block and wrap the liner up and over. I have 7 young Koi and know I need to double my gallons before they're full grown. It's only 650-700 now and 24" deep.

For me that 3rd koi is kikokuryu also known as a dragon koi, a metalic version of kumonryu. I have a kikokuryu koi it's very unique koi bcoz the sumi always changes depending in water temperature..
We lost our adult blue koi a few years ago that looked like that. In a new batch from last year, we have one again! Pure baby blue with the darker spine scales doitsu. No spots.
i must say you have some really nice fish especially the asagi and like you said its the gray colour the breeders call blue the third koi variety of blue koi is the blue kikokuryu its not a cross of any other koi its all its own breed which is a stunning sky blue colour i had one last year but unfortunately it did not cope to well over our british winter i also lost a stunning butterfly yelow ogon i will pick me up another blue kikokuryu soon 😉

The two koi you bowl together are known as Hi Shusui which means that the "Hi" or red coloration comes up above the lateral line of the koi. The last one you bowl is simply A shusui. Not a rare fish at all. Tens of thousands of them are produced in the US every year.
My kikokuryu, just like your second koi,but doesn't have red dot at all.. pure sky blue.. we are considered lucky to find those.. because IT is rare.. even in Asia..
I got a shisui with all blue and only red belly and pectoral fins, I get her as a jumbo tosai from blue ridge, and she is show quality at 7 inches, I highly recommend u check out next day koi and blue ridge koi farms, I have all the blue veriaty doitsu koi, I only keep doitsu, I have blue shisui, blue matsuba, and Carolina blue, along with a show doitsu sanke, show level doitsu hariwaki and a Yamamoto nashiki doitsu koi, blue ridge is amazing deff check em out bruh
The blue koi are not rare..I used to have several of them years ago. I also sell koi. A green koi (Midorigoi) is rare though. The third fish you show is more like a traditional Shusui, but may be a hybrid. The second two fish you showed are Hi Shusui, meaning red Shusui.
