I overall like this keyboard, it seems high-quality. Probably great for gaming ... that said, I have some quips with it for my usage for work / software development (macOS): - No right-option key. I use this with the arrow keys for word-jumping. As far as I can tell it's impossible to re-map FN+ArrowRight and FN+ArrowLeft because they're firmware-reserved hotkeys, which leads me to the next item... - closed-source, unconfigurable firmware. Impossible to change or intercept firmware-level hotkeys. Seems to be incompatible with the popular open-source QMK firmware (correct me if I'm wrong) - stubby right shift button, I often mis-key and end up accidentally pressing the ArrowUp key. I'll probably get used to this over time though - limited support - maintainers/developers seem to be unresponsive in Discord Overall I regret buying this keyboard due to these limitations, and according to others on Discord they're unlikely to be resolved unless/until NuPhy releases a Halo96v2
Hi Gus, appreciate your review! I think I'm gonna grab this keyboard for work, with the Rose Glacier switches. Which switch do you have on your keyboard? Thanks!
The batterylife on RGB trully sucks.. Especially when compared with Air75 Working Time (all lights on): 35~57 hours (lab test result) It is really a down for me.. That won't hold me even for 1 day of using. Sadge. I think they could improve a lot the battery if they would let you disable the edge-light-strip. Also, I dislike the enforcing of accessory kit .. That is 10-20$ worth of savings.
Well, I usually dont leave lights blaring all the time do battery was definitely not an issue, so I can see that point, but the accessory kit I actually enjoyed. Considering what comes in it, feels like it wouldn’t be that much in savings. Still they definitely can do better (always, any brand, any product), but the whole quality on display here… man they’re doing a great job!
Nice looking kb 🥰🤩👍💪 however, I see many kb manufacturers cheaping out on tiny batteries🔋which could easily and cheaply upgraded to something at least 3-4x the size which consumers would loooooove 🥰🥰🥰!
No argument there… I’m thinking of trying to mod the board with a bigger battery, to be honest, but since I never use the lights, 200+ hours is quire good. Defo no worries of it dying on me lol
Hey Gus, I also just got the Epomaker RT100 with Pink Flamingo Switches (It is a 97 key) and I absolutely love it. Have you tried Epomaker? This is the only one I ever have tried and man for $120 it is amazing! (typing on it now...very Thocky)
So this sound test was of it being completely stock?? And does this one sound/feel the same as the Halo 75? I would prefer to have that keyboard since it is smaller.
Ordered this yesterday. Thanks for confirming I made the right purchase!
Have fun, bro!
Your review quality is really great. You deserve way more views. Subbed.
Thanks mate! Appreciate ya! Welcome aboard 🤘🏻

How would You say this compares to the Keychron K10 pro?
I haven’t tested the k10 pro, so it wouldn’t be fair to compare them. Sorry bro
had to return a keychron Q6 Pro TWICE! i would love a nuphy 100% keyboard.
Wrist rest comes inside to box or to be bought separately I am confused
Oh, its sold separately. Sorry, mate
What switch are you using during the type sound test?
Oh dang, I forgot to put that in the Video… those are NuPhy’s Night Breeze linear switches.
Rose glacier switch?
The other one forgot the name lol
@@TechHyped must know the switch name brother
@sunnyrock1237 you’d think so, right? 🤦🏼♂️
how much time u get used on a compact layout keyboard ?
‘Bout a week… after that I was back on the compact train
Can the backlight be still/stationary, not color, just white/yellow, not animated?
Yes. Basic RGB animations/styles are covered.
@@i3looi2 is static white light covered?
Yep!
@@TechHyped Taht's great - somehow, nobody on YT seemed to cover that XD.
