Just compared to a later version they did in 1976. Better equipment, better stage, mics etc etc but it doen'st have the "something" this version has. Fresh, clean, ENERGY! Later it's jaded, like eh, so wut maaaan.
I agree. Here they are delivering in person. In 76 they were mailing it in. The playing is way better here in my opinion. Glad to see that they have released cleaned up perhaps remastered versions for 2021

I don't think they're sloppy= they're just more influenced by the blues, and you're not hearing a lot of interesting harmonies to distract you..
