I won't be gone forever, I promise, just not as active. I need to do actual voice auditions instead of randomly doing voice vids on TH-cam, and I need to make the videos I USED to make before my life became a crazy straw.

That is actually what I'm working on now. I'm going to livestream as I play the game for footage, just so I can show people how bad it truly is in REAL time. It really does need to be re-evaluated, that's something I would actually do a legit TH-cam apology for.
Guru Larry was right, I didn't get to fully research it before reviewing it, and he's right, but I truly did think the game only had ONE stage, anyone would. Plus, I feel like if I get that out of my head, I can finally move on to other things. But real life recently curbstomped out of nowhere - as it does - and thankfully I didn't require much time to dust off.
Plus, the creative output is therapeutic, I just need to quell my addiction to shitposting and low effort voice videos, because I can make some amazing shit when I actually focus and refrain from feeling like it's never good enough - so why try? That's a bad hole to find yourself in.
TL;DR - I'm crazy, so let's find a way to use it for good

It’s even more messed up when you realize the background for the Giygas fight is Giyg from Mother 1 only his body has been horribly disfigured, limbs bent in unnatural angles, in places they shouldn’t be, and stretched far beyond their natural limits.

I just needed to reboot, I need to learn that I can't iceskate uphill. I'm going to focus on gaming livestreams, I need to bump up my watch hours anyway, and I've proven I can talk to an audience for hours, so that MIGHT be the niche.
If not, I'll simply regroup and find another path. If anything, I needed that pain, the Giygas voice vids tend to come out when I'm absolutely devastated, so I channel it into those - weirdly therapeutic.
TL;DR - I'm a crazy person.

To anyone who reads this comment: do NOT let yourself be swallowed by the darkness like I was earlier this year. Because if I'd allowed it to consume me? I'd have never gotten my channel monetized, would have NEVER met all of you awesome people, and I wouldn't have received ANY voice roles.
TL;DR: I'm glad I didn't give up....and I only hope that can inspire some people to keep fighting....or at least refrain from becoming stagnant and letting your passion and flame die out.
i know i'm late to the party, but thank you for everything you've done on here. i found the original Voice of Giygas video when i was much younger and in an awful spot mentally. i don't wanna get too corny with this but let's just say it gave me an outlet to listen to. your Giygas voice will always be official to me.

@@thedrewdog that's genuinely one of the most uplifting things someone has ever said to me. thank you. I can hear the emotion in your voice in all three Giygas voice videos; it makes me want to cry everytime i hear them tbh. i just want to let you know that everything you've made is beautiful.
@@--cloudmario-- I only ever wanted to entertain people to pull them out of the darkness, even if it's just for a little bit. I've been there, and I don't wish that on anyone. Just keep growing, and don't look behind you.

I had people subscribe just FOR the Giygas vids, and since it's not something I wish to keep doing - nor did I want to deny anyone holding out hope for more of them. So I figured I'd retire it in an appropriate way.

Well I really appreciate you stopping by and talking with me, it's always cool to meet fellow Mother fans. I was lucky enough to buy the game on Clearance back in 1995 (30 bucks for the big box, no joke, there were at least 20 copies unsold).
So it makes me happy to see that my favorite game FINALLY got the acclaim it deserved all those years ago.
