He was for a while. Did an eminem song and some shit. I imagine he's the busiest touring with Whitechapel than he ever has before too, so might have less time to make videos

Absolutely killer drums on a killer song. It's kind of a bummer how buried the drums are in the mix on the actual song, the nuance in his playing adds a lot to the feel of the song.

Every note is so intentional and proportionate to the song. Knowing how much of a monster Rudi can be behind the kit, it stands as a testament to his musical awareness and appreciation. Love the direction this band is heading now.

I respect your opinion, but let me share an assumption; you're one of those elitst that critiques anything that's remotely not blast beats and breakdowns are you?
@@warrenoids “Respecting my opinion” followed by a derogatory term such as “elitist” is a tad oxymoronic. I like metal. More specifically, extreme metal, which is why I got into ‘The Somatic Defilement’ originally. I have enjoyed the journey of Whitechapel’s progression and even appreciated their transition to ‘The Valley’. It’s “ballads” were at least still heavy but this track is worrisome for me due to it’s sterility and mainstream boredom which indicates to me that their latest direction on ‘Kin’ is not my cup of tea. ‘Diggs Road’ is a slow and melodic track by them and I love it so I’m hardly elitist. I also preferred Ben’s drum contributions with this band but that doesn’t mean that I don’t believe Alex to be a killer drummer because that’s why I watch his playthroughs in the first place. I just ain’t digging the tone of this album.
Edit : For the record I fucken love blast beats and breakdowns but I’m not single minded. ‘A Bloodsoaked Symphony’ is my preference on this album so far and it’s hardly fast.

Play a drum cover of mono since you’re the new Whitechapel drummer. Nobody covers that song and I think you’re one of the few that can do an accurate drum cover of it. Ben harclerode is so good he didn’t wanna play anymore cuz he has nothing to prove.
This mix feels too compressed. The snare cuts out pieces of the music, makes it hard to enjoy. As always the playing is impeccable :)
