This is just my opinion, and I'm sure other people have different opinions, but tldr I think it's worth coming back to Elsword if you can put time into it regularly. Elsword definitely has its fair share of problems, but it also does have its own strengths, so I don't really think there's any point in going into those as I think they're fairly balanced. However, I do think Elsword is not very well suited for casual playing. You don't need to put in a lot of time or a lot of money into the game, but I do think it's very hard to progress in the game if you don't do the daily/weekly/event quests. In addition, the meta changes relatively fast in Elsword imo, so not playing consistently can easily cause one to fall behind and catching up all the time is harder than it is to maintain meta. And I think not keeping up with meta hinders one ability to enjoy the game. I don't think the game has the best progression, but I don't think it's impossible for newer/returning players to catch up with meta, esp with the foj revamp you mentioned. But overall, I main this game and obviously I'd like to see newer players and returning players, the game's "free to play" so I don't think it'd hurt to give it a try again if you're interested!
When I joined Elsword NA, I became instantly disappointed at how hard it is to get the costume you want. No I'm not talking about IB sets, I'm talking about specific costume pieces I need to dress up my char via magic wardrobe. In voidels you can buy lots of good cotumes from the item mall, but in NA all of the costume pieces in the mall are (IMO) terrible not to mention they only sell a handful of them. I haven't tried the board because I need to wait 4 days before I can use it. So how do you usually get costumes? For example, "Aisha's Virgin Saint Bottom Piece". It's on Voidels's Item mall but idk if its obtainable in NA (despite it being available on magic wardrobe). Is there a way to get costumes like this or is it just impossible because the event for it has passed? Or is it possible to be bought from the board due to IB rotation? Pls I need answers. Thank you in advance.
Sorry I can't give you a definite answer/it's hard for me to give you a definite answer, since I don't know what accessories you have. SI and 11-x accessories are pretty flexible (SI is worth slotting as 2/3 too), so you can try mixing in an IB set/other 12-x accessories, etc. and seeing what fits. Sorry, I don't board flip personally so I don't have much to say about it. My friend zero who board flips normally just checks the front page of the board often (and searches up some other items of interest) to see if anyone put something up for cheap or missed a zero and grabs it and resells it later, but that's pretty much all I have to say about it.

Yes, I get my costumes for ED. Promotion cubes are fine, but you should try to stop using them asap since you can't socket them (or you can socket them, but it is a huge waste of resources to cont. socket a temporary costume set)

I'm hoping that with the new story mode update that it's easier to get the raid weapon/accessories for everyone (cause you can dismantle foj for accessories) though i've been doing story mode with friends and ngl the drop rate/raid weapon drop bar increase was a lot more underwhelming than i thought it'd be, but nevertheless story mode is pretty easy to clear and the cp req is pretty low so i guess it's pretty reasonable? honestly i'm pretty worried about how expensive 7w is gonna be lol... i hope a lot of ppl burn and there is a lot in the market so it doesn't get ridiculously expensive
@@edwardr.485 I don't really think any of the IM costumes have significantly good stats, so I'd say get whatever you think looks nice. You really would only get IM costumes for looks/the extra sockets. You care more about fixed effects/set effects for IBs. Both IM/IB costumes rotate. What I'm wearing in this video is mostly not for sale anymore and if you wanted them you'd have to buy it from another player who bought it during when it was on sale. My friend Candy recommends that if you care about stats, instead of buying an IM costume you should sell your kching and buy an IB costume (or use/save your kching to burn for an IB costume).

Heyo o/ it's me again. I know this may sound weird but can you give a guide on how to "whale" on Elsword. I want to know what I should be doing with my kching to help with gaining CP.
I don't think what you should invest in in Elsword is much different regardless if you use ed or kching. If you whale, you just save yourself a lot of time because you can just put money in the game and get what you want instead of spending time grinding and then getting what you want. If you can't directly buy what you want with kching, then you sell the kching and then use the ed to buy what you want. @@cayanite4161 I understand my ed guide was not made for beginners, but that guide was most definitely made for medium CP people and not players who have billions of ed. I think perhaps we have different definitions of what is “medium CP”, but for me medium CP people are people who have completed elrianode armor/void weapon and are working on foj/rig armor. I think elrianode armor/void weapon have both been out for a very long time and have also been made significantly easier to obtain, so I think this is a reasonable threshold for “medium CP”. Anything less imo, is what I’d consider “newer/returning player/very casual player/low CP”. In regards to my ED guide, nothing in that guide requires foj/rig armor or anything over 500k cp to clear. Ex. I don’t include farming marks because generally people who farm marks are high CP/good class players (or really high demand alts with sage rig armor). I understand that rig dailies are hard to do solo/without a carry if you do not have a foj, but I think 13-1 is reasonable to clear with even heroic gear (I did part of my APS’s master class JC with a +9 heroic weapon and +8 heroic armor). With the newest update in NA, players with medium CP can do 13-1 5 times if they cannot do anything higher. In addition, if you can find a guild or find people in discord servers that are willing to help you out, that works out too. My guild helps me do my rig dailies on my CE who cannot clear by herself. Drabaki, PVP, henir, Elsword events don’t require foj/rig either. For raid alts, you only needed 380k CP, but with the recent update it’s even lower (332.5k cp?). And with story mode, you only need 180k cp (if I remember correctly.) I understand 13-4/12-8 takes a bit more gear to farm, but SDs/11-4 do not. (And personally I don’t farm 13-4 or 12-8.) (There are also other ways to make ED as well.) If your definition of medium CP is players who do not have void weapon/elri armor yet, I do not know how comfortable I feel making a guide about making ed with that level of gear. I personally have not farmed anything before 12-X in years so I do not know exactly what is the best way to make ED. I did not know about halted sun (apparently you make a lot of ed from it from the natural high ed drop and the magical crystals) and I’m sure there’s more I don’t know. When I first played the game I farmed dragon road for heroic invites (they were 500k ed to 1m ed each back then) and dismantled equipment I got from farming OOR before OOR was initially removed, but none of those methods are very viable now. I feel I need to put this disclaimer here, but I do not spend money in this game and I don’t really invest too much time into it anymore (around 2 hours a day average- though I do understand some people are too busy to put that much time in a game.) I think initially, when you first start the game it’s really hard to make ED or make progression, but once you’re able to catch up with meta, it’s fairly easy to maintain meta if you play daily/play relatively efficiently. I have been playing this game for awhile now, and it was really hard to get my first +11 without a +11, but it’s not impossible and once you do get a +11 it does make getting your next one for the next weapon, etc. easier. Also, my guides aren’t an end all be all, you’ll have to adjust things based off how much you want to invest in the game and what your goals are. For this guide, you don’t need things like 7w, coh, upgrading skill ring/rof, etc. it’s really just min-maxing and I just put it out there for people who are interested, but it’s not something you need. I personally want to see if I can hit 20b a min in 12-7 on RH without a +12 (so therefore I put a lot of investment in RH), but honestly you can easily outdmg my RH on DAB, DB, shakti, etc. with significantly less investment. (There are also other accessory builds out there as well.) Sorry for the very long response, I just wanted to clarify a few things.

I think it's relatively dead anytime tbh :^) My friend Aki told me that a better thing to do is ping the ereda role in the pve and/or the raid server and see if people are willing to queue (or asking friends/guild if ppl want to queue together). Sometimes there's that one person who megas and tells people ot queue too i guess... I guess you can also try queuing once in awhile and seeing if you get a match and hope you found a time where other people are queuing. Personally, I just do the daily PVP quest sometimes and hope that gets me enough medals someday :^). (I really don't understand why they didn't keep that blessed time and space scroll ereda quest from the revamp event, I feel like that would've helped ereda be less dead though I also heard from aki/candy that anemos killed ereda too :^) ahhh...)
1.5 to 2b for 5/5, 3-4b for weapon, 300m to 1b for other accessories. That is my estimate (though take it with a grain of salt as I don't really check the board often/keep up with market prices). And there's no way to know for sure until it comes out :^)

No, you cannot have my raven. b/c i’m currently sitting on his bread and while his bread is big and multifunctional there is only room for one cat to be placed on his bread. Tho since you are a good friend of mines, perhaps i’ll consider giving you a turn but please make sure you bring the right precautions and i don’t want that money to come out of my poor raven’s wallet as he’s already trying his best to fund gear so that his nuclear attack does as much as the scratch of a fox carrying watermelons (that also has ears). But you cannot have my raven permanently and id prefer you didn’t borrow him often either (i only offered b/c ur such a good friend) in this world where climate change continues to cause us to have violent changes in weather, and hundreds of thousands of offenders are able to get off with no or light punishment because of corrupt govts., raven is my only hope for this world. Perhaps religion was created by humans to help them deal with the ever opposing and prominent threatening thought that our lives are all meaningless, and in that way dedicating my life to ravenism and learning to harvest the power of raven is an important aspect in my life and you cannot take that away from me. Although some days i do prefer to in certain locations, on days where i do not prefer said locations, raven provides for me the 30-60min of physical activity i need to stay healthy and that means a lot to me. No, not anyone else would do because not everyone has the same nasod capabilities that can last the same duration that raven’s can. Yes my raven is pretty and you better believe it. I complain that no other game has been able to release a chara as good looking as raven but perhaps i have been rude towards these game companies. Perhaps they are smarter than i thought and have acknowledged that they cannot create a being more perfect than raven and have given up. Perhaps it is wise for them not to pursue meaningless tasks that cannot be accomplished.

no (in KR, the promotional costumes are in the magic wardrobe from what I've heard, but not in NA)

1.5 to 2b for 5/5, 3-4b for weapon, 300m to 1b for other accessories. That is my estimate (though take it with a grain of salt as I don't really check the board often/keep up with market prices). And there's no way to know for sure until it comes out :^)

I made a character rune master and just get void weapon but what after that I find some people suggesting to get a ice burner for good costume and accessories but don't know do I get that by quest or playing some special dg or how...... And also saying to do varmiyr and getting ready for raid........ But my cp is 150k with all the knowledge I have socked them with maximize/critical ect. Thing.......

No, you cannot have my raven. b/c i’m currently sitting on his bread and while his bread is big and multifunctional there is only room for one cat to be placed on his bread. Tho since you are a good friend of mines, perhaps i’ll consider giving you a turn but please make sure you bring the right precautions and i don’t want that money to come out of my poor raven’s wallet as he’s already trying his best to fund gear so that his nuclear attack does as much as the scratch of a fox carrying watermelons (that also has ears). But you cannot have my raven permanently and id prefer you didn’t borrow him often either (i only offered b/c ur such a good friend) in this world where climate change continues to cause us to have violent changes in weather, and hundreds of thousands of offenders are able to get off with no or light punishment because of corrupt govts., raven is my only hope for this world. Perhaps religion was created by humans to help them deal with the ever opposing and prominent threatening thought that our lives are all meaningless, and in that way dedicating my life to ravenism and learning to harvest the power of raven is an important aspect in my life and you cannot take that away from me. Although some days i do prefer to in certain locations, on days where i do not prefer said locations, raven provides for me the 30-60min of physical activity i need to stay healthy and that means a lot to me. No, not anyone else would do because not everyone has the same nasod capabilities that can last the same duration that raven’s can. Yes my raven is pretty and you better believe it. I complain that no other game has been able to release a chara as good looking as raven but perhaps i have been rude towards these game companies. Perhaps they are smarter than i thought and have acknowledged that they cannot create a being more perfect than raven and have given up. Perhaps it is wise for them not to pursue meaningless tasks that cannot be accomplished.
