Hey Chuck, Chris here.......neat kit........I like it man!!!!!! Top Studio does make a PE chain link accessory for bikes......now I'm not sure if it will work for a bike this scale or not.....but, do some checking in on it.......I would add a PE chain on that bike if it's available........no question!!!!!!!!!!
I have no idea why I watch this crap….to be honest. I am building an actual shovelhead chopper in my garage, it’s raining in LA and building the S&S motor depleted my funds until after christmas….in my state of anger, I bought this same model to tide me over until after the holidays and I wanted to get a read on the 1:8 scale….i found your channel and it was interesting and I see you are quite a proper model builder - so I thought “well I can learn something here”….and that is why I watched I guess
lol thanks for watching my crap hahaha I ride 1:1 bikes as well I have three harley’s myself and I just got rid of my rigid s&s. I’m in Arizona keep in touch my friend I would love to see pictures of your shovelhead cfailner@gmail.com is my email.take care and have a merry Christmas
Built this kit, along with the drag version in '73 while attending A school in the Navy, NTC San Diego. Maybe they'll bring back the drag bike. Just completed a vintage Revell Triumph drag bike I bought on E bay years ago, also 1:8 scale. I just bought 2.
Chuck, the reason I watch this crap..is to watch you guys who either have something to say,or some of you actually are serious about the hobby and want to teach the younger groups so it can go on and on!(&btw... that LA bike takes me back to when I was 15& built one and got a first place trophy for the best bike in the model contest!) I had it on a piece of wood with yellow angelhair for carpet! Fun times in the 70's!
Thank you for sharing. Have a great build.
Thanks, you too!

That kit is gonna be massive on the tables when you get it done
I agree
Nice unboxing Chuck, looks to be a great build. I've never built any of the Revell chopper variations yet.
You should
Cool unboxing thanks! The only thing I would change is the angle of the tailpipes.
Yeah I agree
I'm curious to know how you would correct the rake on that chopper.
It’s gonna involve cutting the neck and front end
I just ordered the kit just like I said on Facebook it will not have the high sissy bar or they at seat the exhaust will also be different
Niiiiice enjoy my friend
Great looking kit Chuck I can't wait to see what you do with it!!
