Definitely getting the Insecticon pack. Barrage was one of my childhood original G1 Transformers. Very clever retools. Breakdown is growing on me, but I want Windsweeper more.
It's pretty clever seeing how they just turn around bombshell's chest to make barrage.

I'm getting myself the Breakdown & Windsweeper two-pack, as I never did manage to be Bulkhead & Needlenose during their original release.
needlenoose is available on hasbro pulse for less than 20 currently and is available on Amazon still
I’m glad I kept my Legends Insecticons and didn’t get the molds of these for them. This way my “Deluxe” Insections can maintain their deluxe status in comparison 😅

These Insecticons feel more like bugs than the original trio.
Which makes sense if you think about their original toys. The main trio were more like mechs that were vaguely bug-shaped (especially with the wheels and cockpits) while the deluxe ones were closer to the real-world bugs they were emulating.
Original trio came from diaclone where they were just military vehicles that kind of looked like bugs. Deluxe instecticons came from completely different toyline, even company and those toys were designed to be just bugs.
Barrage and Chopshop 2 pk is a must have for me, I'll take the free battle master too 😂. Maybe Venom is a new mould because he's a mainline 2025 release?

I was surprised to see these up for pre-order today, I was only expecting the G.I. Joe reveals, so I grabbed these along with the Techno Viper/HMS set I was originally after. Now we gotta wait for that third set to show up.
I was really disappointed on Tuesday with no Swoop.
Bruh, there was nothing to indicate swoop was going to be revealed on Tuesday whatsoever. We have streams every week for the next month. He’ll get revealed, just have some patience.

You said they're still available on Amazon in the video, but I've never even seen the listing show up on Amazon. Are they actually available, if so then where? I seriously have missed out on too many of these exclusives to take chances, anymore and need to get them.

Definitely getting this collection. And as for breakdown, I would perfer a unique mold for him, but he’ll do just okay as my collections prime breakdown, plus I like the original bulkhead mold.
That should've been Breakdown's mold from the start instead of Bulkhead's IMO

I might be in the small group but I love that bulk head mold, definitely will pick of breakdown because hes a recolour. love the colour pallete of the Insecticon transformers too. If I had it my own way I would have included some parts forming shoulder pads to make it look closer to the prime design. The bulkhead mold could totally be retooled to be a rescuebot Salvage.
What mold will Venom be based on? I currently can't figure it out.

so that bullhead slash breakdown mold is really good toy and it suits the prime universe breakdown better than it suited the prime universe bulkhead for sure
Im honestly scared for the Ruckus & Bludgeon two pack. The listing was wrong for the Breakdown so i have an odd feeling that Bludgeon might be an Octopunch. I wouldn’t be complaining about getting a new Octopunch but he’ll unfortunately most likely be a Deluxe, hoping for at least a Voyager because most of his appearances in media all show him as “Leader class” size. Also giving Beachcomber two 5mm ports behind his neck is really thought out by Hasbro

I try to not be that guy that dumps on repaints, buuut I'm not feeling that prime Breakdown. Windsweeper is decent though

Will get chop shop and barrage set to go with Ransack but I have the TFP breakdown which is much better and have no interest in windsweeper
I'm disappointed with Breakdown and Windsweeper for being just repaints and Windsweeper couldn't get a new pair of guns that were Molded around his arms. I do like the Barrage and Chop Shop with their little forge of Solus Prime they come with. I'm worried on how their going to do Ruckus for his 2 pack with Bludgeon.

Sucks that these deluxe Insecticons always have to be retools of the regular Insecticons. Even Fansproject did this. Wonder what they are doing with Venom but he'll probably be a retool of someone else. These Legacy ones are decent. I'll preorder a set for now and see if they drop later to get another set or two.
They can't give the Deluxe Insecticons new molds without Bandai breathing down their necks.

@@sidearmsalpha Beetras never had an anime, just a comic, coloring books and merch. Since Takatoku (who produced the toyline) collapsed in 1984 and Artmic (who provided designs) dissolved in 1997, Bandai owns Beetras since acquiring Takatoku's assets.
I hope that APC will make a KO of original Prime Breakdown figure someday. This Breakdown looks good, but i'd like to see Bulkhead and Breakdown as different molds, because now they look like twins.
But honestly, Breakdown and Windsweeper pack is lazy. They just gave them new heads and paint jobs. I at least expected that they will give Windsweeper his own guns, but instead they just repainted NN's targetmasters. Meanwhile, they did fantastic job with Chop Shop and Barrage. Strange...

It’s also possible there might be hammer theme because Mayhem is being treated as a Decepticon’s equivalent to the wrecker’s subline. Who came with a cardboard hammer.

I'm getting them both (thanks Amazon), but I agree Breakdown is the weakest one in these two sets. Looking forward to the 3rd pack preorder to drop as I want Ruckus to stand next to Crankcase and Windsweeper on my shelf (and get another mini collection completed, lol).

Voyagers are 34.99, not 33.99. Altogether a modern voyager and deluxe cost 59.98. You’re only paying a cent more.
