Exactly I've been staying this and every video my whole life I really wish we got in some way to see every detail of how it would have gone dark and awesome as f***
I hope The Wolf Among Us Season Two is as high quality as TWDS2 could've been. With the time they're taking, there's a chance it will be, but that hasn't always been the case.
This is a really good video and i'm glad someone else also believes that Arvo was supposed to be Eddie. There's just too much evidence that points to him playing Arvo. The 400 days characters would hunt down the S2 group lead by Tavia but Eddie would be alongside your group. Once Wyatt recognizes him, the S2 and 400 days group don't know what to do (they're angry that the S2 group destroyed their camp but Wyatt recognises his old friend) before Clem/Kenny notices Rebecca has turned and shoots her, causing them to think the shot fired was at them and starts a gunfight between the two groups. I'm also sad about how the town is completely absent despite being hinted at in the EP5 slide.
InColdBlood you know what I was hoping for? I was hoping that Clem and the others would get captured by the Russians or the 400 Days group and were taken to that church town where there refugees from Carver’s camp and instead of sneaking out, everyone would need to fight their way out of the town
@@ofearghailthefearless6481 Or maybe S2 Group would run from the 400 days Group- also btw Bonnie is from 400 Days but comes no matter what just so you know. Good question. What would happen? Wyatt can stay at that camp before. And so do the others. I wanna know. But also the choice with the Car don't matter. InColdBlood. Yes this one right here said in his own video about what would happen in Episode 4. That would be so cool if they would run away to the Church. Or just get captured. Love that Edit at the end of this video showing Clem going with AJ to Wellington. Btw Wellington looked more like a City actually. Honestly much cooler. I think that right there is how Wellington looked like before made it truly. A lot better. Kenny makes it sound like it looked much bigger. Dunno bout you but it just looked like some weird Giant Wall. Ha! *The Wall* Trump.
I guess episodes 4 and 5 were supposed to be REALLY DARK at a earlier time... In episode 4, there was a kind of "Tribal war" between Clem's group and another (Eddie's group ?), leading to a traumatic/brutal ending which everyone dies, except Clem and AJ... And episode 5 will show us 75% of the time Clem survives with AJ, without encounter any other humans, and at a point, there was a horrible choice where you have the possibility to leave or not AJ behind you... And, a little bit later after that, Clem completely alone (or not if you decided to keep AJ) is now very close to Wellington, it wasn't a lie, the city is really there... The city appears like a lost paradise, like a light of hope in the darkness... And at this point, there was the final choice of the season 2 you get... Enter to Wellington or not ? And man, It's really a tough choice... Enter in a city where you have no ideas actually if it's really safe or not (what if it's a city with bad guys ? Like the Saviors ?), but if you go, maybe there can be good people, living in a peaceful place and where everyone will really try to help you ? Maybe there is still hope for that... And if you refuse to go to Wellington, you choose the "safe" option, not encounter anymore people who can be bad after what you see and endure the whole season 2... So you pick up the "extrem survival way" and stay back in the darkness, refusing the light of hope in front of you... But, don't be afraid so much, after all she endures, Clem isn't a kid anymore at this point, so there is still hope too she can still survives by herself. The choice will even be 10x more hard to do if you have AJ with you at this point... It's really up to you to decide what could be good for both of you, trying to survive by yourself or try your chance to enter in a world which can be very good or very bad... Will you stay in the darkness ? Or try your chance and go to this light in front of you ? ... And Season 2 will ends with your choice, Clem (with AJ or not) walking to Wellington or go away from it... With "In the Water" music playing and screen fades to black, credits playing... I just wish season 2 would ends like this... It would explain so much why Clem is a lot more "dark" and "cold" in season 3 actually, because she just lost every of her innocence forever with a ending like that... =(
3:00 just to play devils advocate, her putting the blood on her face could have been alluding to their escape from Carvers where they cover themselves in walker guts
The fact that the original final episode is called "better to sleep" and I think that they mentioned that the original ending is that Clementine freezed to death
I wouldn't want her to die. There was a comment which I saw here and damn it was a nice one. You can take AJ with you and you can go to Wellington or leave. You'll survive either way but it's cool. And also it would be a nice Alone Ending because it can still go to Season 3 and Season 4. I don't think Clem would EVER abandon AJ. Also talking to you Comic. I mean there he's safe but no way she'll cause she wasn't happy. I love how cool this can be and you don't even need to change the whole damn Season. Just that Mike would be the guy with Christa and he wants to make up for it also the Gunshot is him Getting shot in the Ear. And in Episode 4 and 5 Nothing can change except Arvo being Replaced by Eddie and you know the rest. And also maybe Sarah survives and becomes much better but sadly splits up from us but actually we could see her after the Ending of Season 4. Much better if that group of Survivors would be characters who you got to keep Alive and never knew their Faith. Also Molly. I forget she can die! Still we never see it on screen so maybe we could see her with Scars depending if you saved her or not but Clem saved her live so she would be happy to see Clem.

it always made me sad why so many people were so vile to her character. especially knowing how sheltered she was. it didnt seem fair comparing her to clem, and i liked sarah regardless.
She was originally going to be the last person alive (along with AJ and Clem) and was supposed get separated from Clem when Troy (who was originally going to be Carter) was trying to molest her.
@@kittensruleforever I agree, it's also sad because you can tell she either has anxiety problems or autism, maybe even both. I’ve watched this video numerous times, I agree with pretty much everything here, especially the fight between two groups and the missing of the church town. It’s almost as if the church town was gonna have an actual role in episode 5, but for some reason it was cut, almost seemed deliberate it was removed. It made no sense for our group to make a big deal out of it in episode 4 for only in episode 5 to never hear or speak about the town again for the story. The whole point of the argument in episode 4 was because of finding supplies in that church town, only for it to be forgotten and discarded? They completely went back on episode’s 4 point to go with Arvo’s plan to go to his place when they could’ve went to that town instead like they said they would? Multiple important things could’ve had happened in that town but instead we got the whole idiotic lake scene that stupidly killed Luke and potentially Bonnie like in my play through? Hogwash.
To this day i still look back and think how much season 2 could have been. From the luke and kenny Conflict, 400 days characters playing a bigger role. Also not saying this would have been good but how dark the ideas they had like clem letting aj die or kenny as the original villian or troy R@ped clem ( I heard news that was one of the ideas and it's haunting how dark the story was originally gonna be
I know "Better to Sleep" was supposed to end with only AJ and Clem being alive, walking toward the town, and it's freezing so badly that you can opt to leave AJ since he's just too much of a burden (and would be, let's not kid ourselves) in a zombie apocalypse and going at it alone, or staying with him and dying...until some folks come up and find you before the light goes out for good. Eddie was supposed to be a stand-in for Arvo, and we know Eddie was a junkie, so Jane's line would have worked. Also know any major conflict was supposed to also be Luke VS Kenny instead of Jane. Seeing Clem become friends with CARVER would have been especially interesting as far as the story goes, and there is an option when he's talking to you saying you wanna help. Shit, that could have had the story goes in some crazy directions, and if the writing was anything other than binary, it could have resulted in branching stories sorta like what they did at the end of what we got. And yeah, it would have been better to do something with Sarah, as much as I couldn't stand the character. Trying to mold her into a survivor similarly to how Lee did for Clem would have been interesting, especially since it'd be a kid teaching another kid. Could have put a cool spin on things. Ah well. Season 3 was trash, but at least Season 4 was pretty good.
+leatherwolf89 you're welcome, man. These theories make hella sense and I think season two would've been a lot better if it turned out like this, personally. Btw I first watched this vid at night, and that "Better To Sleep" music, along with the theory, really creeped me the hell out 😱 lol. Hope u make more like this soon.
Nice vid! There were some parts I was iffy about, but overall, it gave me a lot to think about. I'm surprised someone else also thought of the Eddie/Arvo thing, I'd brought it up with my sister a week or so ago thinking that's probably what happened.
Thanks! It should be noted that all these are just my own theories and don't represent the facts. The Eddie/Arvo one has got to be true though. Besides Eddie being in the image, Jane accuses Arvo of being a junkie, which Eddie was. And Arvo uses Eddie's silver pistol too.
God this season had soooo much potential to be one of the darkiest in the whole series. So many things were taken out of the original story, so much so that really the only thing that stayed the same was episode 1, all the other episodes were changed. Its my favorite season out of all the seasons because it still is very depressing compared to the others (besides s1 finale) but damn man. I remember the excitement I had for eddie when I saw him in the cover art for episode 4. I remember slowly as the season went on, they changed the cover art for pretty much each episode, which right off the bat led me to believe they were flipping the scripts on us (which they were) and I always could see hints or mentions of things in the game that didn't exactly make sense but showed that there once was another, better, darker story (for ex. Troy's creepy questions to Sarah and clem, troy getting shot in the dick, Luke mentioning how Mike is trying to "prove himself") and then when some players data mined the game and found unused files, it just solidified the fact that i felt all along while playing the game, it was heavily changed. Can you imagine how deeply disturbing this game could've been if kenny played his original role in this season instead of carver, how more people would hate and how much more sense it would make for jane to kill troy that way if he actually did take advantage of clementine, how much sense ep 4 cover art would make if you actually did go to war with another group and have eddie be involved, how luke could've survived. The list goes on and on. Its a damn shame, considering everything we know now. Actually feel sad everytime i come back to the season, knowing how much better it couldve been, couldve easily been the best in the series if Telltale didn't have so much drama going on internally.
I wouldn't want Kenny to come back just to make him a Villain I would be like "He should have just died in Season 1" So I'm glad they changed it. Also. Season 3's Kenny death. His death Matches Ben's death. Ben falls and dies on both. He couldn't feel his legs and couldn't. If you saw his death in Episode 4 then you know he didn't die from the fall he was Paralyzed just like in Episode 5. And with Kenny he went through the Windshield and couldn't feel his legs. His death might have been bad but at least he died like Ben which I like the detail and also died protecting Clem and AJ.
Oh man the original select scree music for both for 4 and 5 are so unnerving I wonder what instruments were used to produce the track. Also the rumor that clementine freezes to death in the original script of episode 5 better to sleep is so grim goddamn.
Even if it seems interesting, I’m honestly kind of glad Ep4 and Ep5’s original stories haven’t been pieced together yet. Their original title cards are so freaky and cockamamie that I’m glad we got watered-down, sloppy rewrites. Edit: Ya boy can’t spell.
Lol the Edited Comment. 😂 But yeah there are some things which maybe shouldn't be in like Clem abandoning AJ. Ok. In the Shootout there was a choice to risk getting shot to save the Kid or run to cover but yeah.
Okay I was thinking "How would Episode 5 start if Arvo was Eddie?" I was thinking of leading us to the house but maybe instead. I dunno. Something happens and we get to the Church. Maybe the Russian group which instead would be the 400 Days characters taking revenge would survive and we'll run away from em to the church. But still at the end Luke Vs Kenny would happen though. Also I dunno when would Jane come back. Maybe she'll sacrifice herself.
I also found out something interesting... i.imgur.com/tF8tnFo.png This is the final version of EP5, it's transparent and has a "shadow city" in it. Resize it to fit the picture in the video i.imgur.com/WoZLX1p.png The "shadow city" fits perfectly with the screenshot, so they actually raised the ground after removing clem(?) to perfectly cover her up, maybe?
I found the picture on the Telltale Games website forum. Here: bit.ly/1sREsZA Then I viewed the image link for it and found it's from a Russian Telltale Games forum. Here: bit.ly/25o0mEP
oohh, there's a bunch of interesting stuff in the forums like an unused scene in S2EP1 for the river, with the fishing traps... These title pics seem to be from interviews but so far I had no luck finding it...
leatherwolf89 I did check the files and yes, the fishing models are in there. I do recall finding a bunch of unused stuff in Michonne, some characters and some sound files. It looks like TT just threw all S1 and S2 assets into the game, so maybe there's even more in there?

Season 2 was garbage and lazily written, we where give a whole cast of characters in the 1st episode who nearly all of them got replaced by new characters in the coming episodes or where killed to early to actually have some character development, choices in season 2 dont matter as much as they do in season 1 for example you can either choose to help sarah or let her die but it doesn’t matter if u help her because she just dies 25 minutes later and in that time she has no character development and only like 1 line of dialogue, it was fun to play season 2 but it has way to many flaws.
Season 2 is nowhere near garbage, S2 E1 and S2 E2 are some of the best episodes of The Walking Dead. And Carver is probably the best villain the entire Telltale series has ever seen

Hogwash.
Carver was suppose to be friends with Clem?!! Awesome I would have loved to see that happen for real I love Carver!!
Season 2 could been darker
I can’t believed I missed this video. Better late than never. I hope your doing okay 👍
I really wish this all happened. It would have been so much more interesting and I have a soft spot for tragedy
loved this vid. I'm hype for S3. I'd love for you to make some more videos like this. keep up the good work.
Thank you! I'm hyped for S3 too. I'll make another video again eventually.
@@leatherwolf8957 Do you think chista walking dead dlc happens
@@leatherwolf8957I hop walking dead chista dlc happens
That music is fucking creepy
Damn, I really missed season 2, I got the collection. But I meant the real season two.
Very cool video design, really enjoyed it
I have a feeling that this game has the most cut content ever
Even if it seems interesting, I’m honestly kind of glad Ep4 and Ep5’s original stories haven’t been pieced together yet. Their original title cards are so freaky and cockamamie that I’m glad we got watered-down, sloppy rewrites.
Edit: Ya boy can’t spell.
Lol the Edited Comment. 😂
But yeah there are some things which maybe shouldn't be in like Clem abandoning AJ. Ok. In the Shootout there was a choice to risk getting shot to save the Kid or run to cover but yeah.
it would have been weird if Clem and carver had a lee-Clem relationship
Think about this happening with Kenny instead. Maybe would work there but still weird.
@@MariusBoss11458 not really
@@AklamiIkq I know Clem'll say "What happened to you Kenny? Why are you like this?" That's for sure.
@@MariusBoss11458 ye
Okay I was thinking "How would Episode 5 start if Arvo was Eddie?" I was thinking of leading us to the house but maybe instead. I dunno. Something happens and we get to the Church. Maybe the Russian group which instead would be the 400 Days characters taking revenge would survive and we'll run away from em to the church. But still at the end Luke Vs Kenny would happen though. Also I dunno when would Jane come back. Maybe she'll sacrifice herself.
I also found out something interesting...

This is the final version of EP5, it's transparent and has a "shadow city" in it.
Resize it to fit the picture in the video

The "shadow city" fits perfectly with the screenshot, so they actually raised the ground after removing clem(?) to perfectly cover her up, maybe?
Cool find. That looks like what they did.
Miss luke🖤
I dont
Isn't anybody gonna realise the problem with coming *Sooon*
Great vid! Gave a like and sub
I fiddled around with the scene where you find Sam.
I removed almost everything that obscures objects like this...

Where did you find the "Better to Sleep" picture?
I found the picture on the Telltale Games website forum. Here: bit.ly/1sREsZA
Then I viewed the image link for it and found it's from a Russian Telltale Games forum. Here: bit.ly/25o0mEP
oohh, there's a bunch of interesting stuff in the forums like an unused scene in S2EP1 for the river, with the fishing traps...
These title pics seem to be from interviews but so far I had no luck finding it...
Oh yes, I read about that one. Alvin and Clem go fishing. I had no luck finding the interviews either. haha
leatherwolf89 I did check the files and yes, the fishing models are in there.
I do recall finding a bunch of unused stuff in Michonne, some characters and some sound files. It looks like TT just threw all S1 and S2 assets into the game, so maybe there's even more in there?
Really? Do you have images of the models or know how to view them? I wonder what they look like... Also, I read about there being unused characters in the Michonne game.
Btw can someone tell me what is the name of his outro?
Hi, the song is "In The Water" by Anadel.
@@leatherwolf8957 thank u
@@leatherwolf8957 When I heard the song in the Defintive edition I was POG because it was so good and they never put it in the Collection edition thing because they just used the Season 3 thing which is dumb.
Also Cool that they put in Season 4 Episode 2 Credits In the Pines though.
Video ending song what version is that
It's the regular version just with its key pitched down by one.
That's how Telltale does shit, they give u an option to save someone or let them die, let them die, they die, let them live, they die in like 20 mins, its not a new concept
What's the music at 0:55?
i dunno
but u can search it in twd s2 episode 2 soundtrack

Is dat church town is crawford?
Crawford was in Savannah, Georgia. Episode 3 and Episode 4 of the game took place in Tennessee so no.
Lost? I thought episode 3 and 4 was Ohio?
@@zaza4440 The Walking Dead wiki says that Howes (Carvers camp) is in Tennessee so that is the state they were likely in for at least the third and fourth episode
Season 2 is full of disappointments
Honestly mainly the second half of the season was disappointing. season 3 which literally was brutally destroyed in so many ways to the original they for that season
