Today I cooked a prime rib in my SRG. It turned out great. This piece was incredible. The music is by Silent Partner titled "Weekend in the City" • Weekend In The City - ...
We had a 3 bone roast with the ribs cut off and retied by the butcher. Cut the ribs off, put coffee rub over all the surfaces even the bones, then retied the bones. In my big easy, it took less than 2 hrs to get to 135° F. Let it rest until it coasted to 141° F, then sliced. It was perfect. Some might say it was overdone. Au contrare. It was perfect. The ends were medium. The center was medium rare. Used a circular foil pan to catch the drippings, which the wife was supposed to use for Yorkshire pudding. She failed. It was still all good. Need to do this monthly, not just at Christmas.

Thanks so much for your videos , I’ve had a BGE for about 10 years and just bought a Kamander as an addition (BBQ #4) 10 years of smoking and you still showed me stuff that I haven’t done or seen. Thanks again!!. When are you going to do a pork belly?
Thank you so much. I did cook some pork belly burnt ends once, to see if i could do it right. My mom told me not to do that any more lol. We are both watching what we eat and I sent several pieces with dad. She ate them all. I was planning on doing it on video next time, but stores around here dont always carry pork belly. I have to buy when I find it. Thanks for the comment.
