    Thank you so much for the synopsis . I do have a question for you though which is, does Acrobat Pro read scanned documents?

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! Acrobat Pro does read scanned documents. Once converted from the scan, you can then edit the text as you normally would. (This typically only applies to regular text, not text that is part of an image.)

    Great video, thank you. Can I save a number of word files (with different header titles) into pdf and then combine them into a single pdf document?

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching! You can combine Word files into a single PDF. I have a tutorial on that topic: th-cam.com/video/5c2gSgBrRj0/w-d-xo.html. Another option is to combine Word files into a PDF Portfolio: th-cam.com/video/Ol56uq3rkhY/w-d-xo.html. Best of luck!

    I need to find a system that creates text searchable documents. Will Acrobat Pro do this? Thanks.

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can create searchable text with Adobe Acrobat Pro; however, Microsoft Word has more searching options.

    When converting from PDF to word, does the word multilevel list stay intact?

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching! In theory, all the lists should stay intact during a conversion. However, unexpected issues do occur sometimes, so you may want to test it first. Best of luck!

    Hi
    What is the differnce between Adobe Acrobat DC (that comes from Adobe Creative Cloud) and Adobe Pro DC?

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching! At the time I recorded this tutorial, the Adobe Acrobat DC that comes with Creative Cloud was called Acrobat Pro DC. Since then, Adobe has changed the name to just Acrobat DC.

    Why can't I open a portfolio from acrobat pro dc in Adobe reader

  • @benmcfadden8938
    @benmcfadden8938 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    So I am rather unfamiliar with adobe products, some videos I watch say acrobat and adobe reader are 2 different programs. The free program I downloaded is called Acrobat Reader DC wondering if this is acrobat and adobe reader combined or if it is just a version of acrobat

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! Acrobat Reader DC is the same as the Acrobat Reader described in this video. The paid version is referred to as Acrobat, Acrobat Pro, or Acrobat Pro DC.

    How can I do the spell check for the whole document in Adobe pro DC, please?

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching my video. Unfortunately, the spell-check in Acrobat Pro DC is only for comments. It won't check the body content. I have an older video that demonstrates the spell-check: th-cam.com/video/JFtPdGAOun0/w-d-xo.html. I am hopefully that Adobe will offer a better spell-check in the future.

    can you highligh of different colors in pro? I need to do this.

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching my video! Yes, you can highlight with different colors in Pro. To do so, create the highlight as you normally would, right-click the highlight, and then select Properties. Then, select the current color box from the dialog box. A menu will pop-up with a variety of colors. Best of luck!

    Can Acrobat Pro create webpages (like Front-page does) ?

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching my video. You can convert a PDF to HTML in Acrobat Pro; however, it doesn't have the functionality that FrontPage did.

      @@erinwrightwriting Your welcome,I actually have a question actually and my question is this. I have a Acer Chromebook 15, but what i found is it won't run on a Chromebook so I decided to download it to my iphone 6 plus. It worked but now what i am trying to figure out is how to edit. I have a art contract that was sent to me through my Gmail from my friend a few days ago, is their any way to have it be sent to Acrobat so i can edit the contract? and sign it. :).

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Purplelightningtiger Thank you for watching my video! Unfortunately, I don't have access to the iPhone versions of Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader right now, so I'm afraid I can't offer any help. However, if the contract is a PDF already set up as a form (with text boxes to sign, etc.) you should be able to just open the file from inside the app and sign. Best of luck!

    I've been paying for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for the past 5 months and haven't used it because I didn't know it's full functionality. I purchased it thinking it could help me download files to my customers on my website while also protecting the files (PDF's - PowerPoints, Videos) from being copied. Have I purchased the wrong program?
    I have a website that I need my customers to be able to access video files once they have purchased them.

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching my video! You can definitely share things from Adobe's Document Cloud. However, Acrobat Pro DC, itself, is primarily used for working with PDFs (e.g., preparing documents for publication, setting up forms/contracts to sign, etc.).

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching my video! Yes, you can write an essay in Acrobat Pro. However, it is much easier to first write the essay in Microsoft Word or Google Docs and then convert that file to a PDF.
