Lots of horror games started to come out out of nowhere, huge TH-camrs who never stepped foot on Roblox in the past were making videos on The Mimic, and now we have developers who legit take their time to make a professional and well polished game to where at times you even forget that it's a game powered by the Roblox engine. The Mimic essentially gave birth to the biggest horror game we have now too, Doors.
I remember playing this game a year ago with one of my friends, beat the game but literally did not know what was going on or what we were supposed to do, just brute forced it EDIT: I only now have realized how much this adds to the Rogurt lore, truly amazing how Rogurt can craft such deep and complex chapters of the lore, I applaud him
Watching you play this game with some of the cliché horror jumpscares, while being funny, also reminds me that this is still better than what used to be on Roblox, some things like: Bloody Mary I: Awake and Trapped, Face Your Fear: The Hospital, and Hospital Nightmare 3. Man, these are so funny to look back on, even though back then they were pretty popular during the time. If you want a game to laugh at, then please play one of these.
Fun fact: If you look directly at 6:17 the generator Rogurt is staring at turns on! Turn it on and go straight forward once you exit that room, it leads to a secret room you can only access if you turn the generator on.
i played this game with a friend group of mine. no one got scared even once, i got left behind because the game failed to teleport me so i had to sit in a random area for the rest of the game and watch one of my friends screenshare, and the metal pipe meme sound effect on a falling catwalk had me burst out laughing at how stupid it was. great game, 10/10, definitely didn't spend half of the game trying to figure out what to do

Yea, as I thought when i saw "TheAsylum" with the thumbnail. Chapter 1 is very similar to the Vrchat game that is also called "TheAsylum" which has a similar thumbnail to this. I wouldn't be surprised if one is a knock off of the other. I'm just gonna go with Roblox being the original because that one atleast is scary and not the vrchat game that is worse than this somehow.

I'm kind of disappointed cuz I didnt get chased by any monster after roaming mindlessly which lowers the tension, soemthing I like to have in a horror game... Most of the jumpscares are too predictable. It was an OK experience. Edit: My frens and I argued a little if we should continue (what they want) or leave (what I want). They don't want me to leave cuz I'm sort of the horror nerd among them.
