    I just got my A-Spec Integra w/ tech package, 5 days ago. Blue with orchid interior. I love it. Worth the price. Luxurious yet sporty. The 16 speakers are bangin!! Comfortable for everyone in the car. Smooth ride. Fun car. And I love the sunroof!

      I want the blue but really wish you could get the red interior with the blue exterior.. Are you having any trouble keeping the white seats clean?

    • @celindafuller8498
      @celindafuller8498 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I was nervous about the orchid too. So far the interior has kept up. I had picked up a lost muddy dog that ran all threw the car(I didn’t know it’s paws were muddied). I almost dropped dead when I saw the mess on the orchid, but I let the mud dry. It was all over the front and back!!! Everywhere!! 🫣
      I vacuumed the dry mud and used a microfiber cloth with a little water and it wiped right off. No stains, no dirt, no spots left behind. It was very easy to clean. And the dirt we have here has a reddish(clay) tint to it too, I was sure it was going to leave stains. It didn’t. Phew 😮‍💨 Thankfully the material is easy to clean. You wouldn’t be able to tell there was a muddy scene. The only issue with the orchid is you can see hair, from your head left on the chairs. It stands out more than if it were a dark interior. I have long hair so I’m constantly picking the hair off the chairs because it’s so noticeable. I guess that’s normal even with darker color interiors. I do plan to buy seat covers just to protect the wear of the material.
      But I love this car. Everything about it. No issues to report yet. I tinted the windows and now I feel like I’m in a capsule. It’s freakin awesome!!
      Being a Integra fan, this is a must buy. You won’t be disappointed, unless you want to use it to race. I bought this car not to race but for it’s technology, the 16 surround sound speakers, and for its awesome sporty sleek design.

      Glad to know the Orchid isn't hard to keep clean. I thought I wanted the Liquid Carbon with Red, but I didn't like the color in person. Hard to judge the Blue online, but sure it'll look great in person. Is it as dark in person? I don't want light blue. I have seat covers for the back for my dog. Don't have to worry about my hair getting on the seats since I don't have much😂

    Great review! I just purchased a carbon metallic with 6 speed manual. Acura has done a superb job on this car. Love the looks, excellent practically with the hatch, Honda reliability and low cost of ownership, handles like on rails. I don’t really see other similar cars out there. BMW 2 series doesn’t have the hatch, and I wouldn’t want to buy a BMW. I do prefer a rwd car but the integra is so good for fwd. Great value for money I think. Like the Acura upscale look, gets away for boy racer of the Honda si. While 200 hp is not a lot of power, she moves very well and is a fast car. I would have reservations throwing more power into a fwd car anyway. This car is a 10/10. Forgot to mention how compliant the suspension is also. Firm but doesn’t beat you up. My daily driver, very happy.

I have 8,000 miles on mine and love it. 100 more HP would not make or break this car in the grander scheme it would still be "slow". I'm impressed with this Acura in many ways. I'm amazed you can actually get one for under $40K for starters, even more amazed you can still get a manual transmission with this brand! I like the red interior, and the rear sedan hatchback. You can fit a large pizza from Cicis back there in the storage slot. What I would change is the exterior paint. Gray is OK, but for this car's sporting character, I'd go for bright red, maybe even orange/mango, or gold. With any of those colors, I'd go for a contrasting black roof, and combo body color/black hood, and black alloy wheels. I've really come to dig the blackout look, and think that would really make this sport sedan pop combined with a bright body color. And it would be a car Miss "True Colors" Cyndi Lauper could love. On the road, I could listen to Richard Blade's afternoon show on Sirius XM 1st Wave. Or maybe U2 XRadio.

If straight line is your thing, then maybe stop reading now, but those looking for driving dynamics with a manual + comfort and luxury (and physical buttons) you definitely need to put this one on your short list. i really like it and will most likely sell my 15 si sedan for one. Just waiting to see how the type-s Integra will be like. I'm really hoping it has AWD and doesn't have a center exhaust like the typeR and the spy shots that came out before. They should do the normal dual or quad exhaust setup like their other type s models, leave the center exit exhaust for the typeR (although i think even that would look better not being center exit)

    I seriously considered buying one of these to replace my ND1 Miata. I test drove a demo a few months ago and liked it, but the clutch felt too light. I drove one again on Friday and though the car ride nice, it just felt kind of numb to me. And the clutch was still too light. Combined with nearly no sound from the engine it was really hard to figure out the clutch’s friction zone or bite point. I’m sure I could have gotten used to it, but I decided to buy something else. These are nice cars though, and I could see myself being interested in a Type S in a few years.

    • @robertblack6630
      @robertblack6630 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Doesn't sound like you can drive a manual or haven't driven anything with a hydraulic clutch since this is absolutely the easiest stick to drive because of how easy is to feel the bite you speak of. Seriously your only person that's ever said this about Honda!

    For me, civic SI for the price is best. If I am spending 37-38k, a GTI SE with the leather seats optioned would be my preference over the integra. A Type S would be a lot more exciting but pricing would likely be too much if a Type R is 40k+

    • @Tigerex966

      If vw just had better reliability I would agree it definitely has better performance Acura should have put the accords 2.0l in the top model at $38j to compete better with that gti.
      For looks infotainment low cost modding sound system room dash rev match, I would take the Acura.
      Back seat goes to vw their sunroof is bigger too, vents in back is great and a must at 40k, as well, and back seats higher quality.
      And gti is almost a full 1.0 to 2 seconds faster to 60 which is huge, tons of options in the digital guage but way too difficult to use while driving.

They're just slow, definitely fun to drive tho forsure. But like my GT Sport is rated at 201hp, 195lbs, which it's been shown from dynos to make 228whp, so roughly the same all around as these Teggys & Si's, but it hits 60 in low low 6s, like 6.1-6.3 consistently with the dual clutch model I have. Idk just seems like people are pumping up the numbers as a form of copium or something.
