Hi Mark, such a great shave as usual, will have a look at the restored straights as I cant resist! Completely understand your decision to produce videos every two weeks. Sometimes you just have so much going on in life, hope you are ok though and comfortable. I always look forward to your videos and a little bit of relaxation and learning watching a straight enthusiast. That gold dollar sounds amazing, you gave that a nice edge! BBS takes a long time on a straight especially when new and not on a vintage! I wish all newbies had a well honed Boker to try! Will always be watching whatever happens! You have a big fan up in llandudno! Time and practice - that is the ultimate ethos of straight razor shaving!
Hi Andy. I do enjoy looking at razors. The strange thing is that I never used to be affected this way by a vintage razor! It keeps me entertained, that's for sure. I could still do with a few bigger stones but I'm very pleased that I am succeeding on what I have. It feels good to put an edge on my own razor! 😃 Thanks for being in my corner, mate. All the best.
I have developed the technical skill to use straight razors but at the end of the day; I just don't like the hassle of their upkeep. You; however, are doing very well with it-do carry on..😉
And that, is as good a point, for not using a straight razor, as any I have heard, Keith. There is a fair bit of expense involved as well, just to buy some old stones! 😂

Nice shave Mark! I don't know, but i imagine honing stainless is harder and/or will take longer since the metal is harder than carbon, but what do i know? I actually sent you that razor to practise on when we did the swap for the chosera stone but hey I can't remember what I did yesterday mate never mind where all my razors came from haha! Glad you're getting good results from your honing though, it's so satisfying putting your own edge on something and shaving with it. All the best mate
