This Christmas song remained a little known gem in the U.S. Only decades later with the coming of the Internet was I able to locate the song. I learned to my surprise the song came out years before 1992. I was able to purchase the Chris Rea CD with this Christmas song on it. As I wrote, this song should have had much greater playing time in the U.S.
All my life I have loved Christmas music, from the worshipful 'official' carols we sang in church, to all the pop standards from the crooners, etc. But my holiday is not complete without hearing this song.
