In fairness, the entire album is a far more mature "grown up" ABR, the song writing is far better than is used to be, they've retained everything that made them fanatic to begin with and refined it like aged wine, they write with far more dynamics now and hone in on the "mood" of the song far more, that to me says grown up, just because it's heavy doesn't mean it's not mature, and to be clear, I fuuuuckkng live the old stuff, messengers is a cornerstone of my life so I'm not talking shit about the old material, it's just the new material is just next level good 🔥

@@AirRedbox The guitars are heavier maybe not the drums. But as a whole I'd have to say dismembered memory takes it. With the bloodletter hype i was let down. Compared to dismembered memory and the narrative it's not collectively as heavy.

When a lot of bands in this genre move towards a more commercial sound..more melodies, whiney vocals, liter sounding instrumentals, ABR drops this album and this song is their heaviest song ever IMO. Fcking amazing. Best album since messengers, and maybe their best ever.

Grew up with these guys, same age. Its nice to see bringing back some things that seems to have been gone from the metal scene since the early 2000's. Not sure if you all read comments but if you do. Props ! Keep doing what you're doing from someone who grew up with you all around its nice to see some of the old styles (i'm sure you'll know what parts in referencing) shine again. Those of us who grew up with this miss it and you all are forever keeping it around !

I started listening to them around messengers era and have been blessed to see them live throughout their career, and I must say they killed this album. And they stayed true and found a way to make their sound even better and heavier. I haven’t been this excited about a metal album in a while.
