Today is a special day for two reasons! One, it's our 6 year anniversary (ayooo!) We're so grateful that we can share our experiences with you all on this channel and thank you for being a part of the journey :) Secondly, today is our friend's (and moderator's) birthday!! (double ayoo). Thank you for everything you do Jay and we hope you have a WONDERFUL day!! Wow there are a lot of exclamation points in this comment lol ANYWAYS, enjoy the very intense chapter 1 finale :)
Happy anniversary you two! Hope you both have a great day to celebrate and a happy birthday to Jay! 😁 now to emotionally prepare myself for this part lol
You guys are so sweet, thank you so much! ♥️ Honestly, it's such a joy to moderate for you both, you both are genuinely one of my favourite channels ever, and I always look forward to your content! Thank YOU for bringing so much joy in our lives. And I hope you both have the best anniversary as well! AND happy St Paddy's day to those who celebrate. AND happy birthday to Hozier as well while we're at it 😂
i’m so happy y’all didn’t watch the trailer to the game because it said that gabe would die, but since yall didn’t, it was a good shock/surprise at the end! This would explain why this chapter ended so abruptly since gabe’s death was already known. I’ve been watching from the start of your life is strange videos and can’t wait to see how yall finish this installment
it’s so sad how they killed gabe off like that, especially since we got to see so much of his life and the people he cared about. that also has to be the worst life is strange death so far, like how are they even gonna recover his body? 😭 but anyways, happy 6 year anniversary! ❤️ you guys are really sweet and great, so thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us, it means a lot ✨
Oh wow I wasn’t expecting that. I wonder what’s going to happen from here. Ryan had a tough choice there but it was the right move. If he hadn’t cut that rope all three of the adults would have died there. Gosh I just really wasn’t expecting that.
Pike left his police business card behind the bar, you looked at it last ep but didn't see it had a Memory interaction. It's a conversation between Pike and Diane (the woman talking to Ducky) where he has a romantic crush on her (I forgot exactly what was said)
Happy anniversary you guys :) What a great, but sad episode. When I got to this moment, my heart was shattered. As a side note, I think LiS3 has the most realistic depiction of emotions in the series. The stims, the anxious gestures and thoughts and spirals... You can see that especially well with Alex (her fidgeting, nail biting, etc). Just wanted to point that out :D
1:00:25 A cliffhanger 😂 The unintentional puns mere minutes after his death lmao. Too soon. Rip Gabe. Another LiS game, another beloved family member is ripped away from us. Finally reunited with her brother after 8 years only to lose him on the same day. Poor Alex, she's been through far too much. Gabe will be missed. I expected it, but I was really bummed out when it happened as well, which is a testament to how lovely he was. I agree, I think the tragic event was executed well too. And I also agree with your insight about revealing her secret to Gabe. Him encouraging her to embrace her power before his death likely stuck with her, so I'm glad they had that moment. Great episode as always, can't wait for the next one!
Not sure if it's a blessing or a curse to not watch the trailer haha. The trailer had revealed that the premise is to solve the mystery of his death so from the jump you know he dies, the only mystery before hand is how he will, but not knowing the premise in advance definitely adds a bit of trauma for the players
I’ve been binge watching your playthrough of lis 1 & 2 having played both games before, but this one I’m coming in as blind as you guys. It’s been an interesting experience not knowing what’s gonna happen, I’m so upset by that ending too!

The only thing that bugged me about this game was Alex’s waking speed 😅 give the girl some Heelys or something, jeez!
I feel like Gabe's death would've been more impactful for most of us if they hadn't told us in the trailer that he dies.

The back of the game case says your brother dies in a "so-called accident", like... why did they have to spoil like that?
8:55 oh how wrong sarah was
Eyes are so underrated. The eyes says alot.

“cliff hanger” indeed lol
ouch. too soon

8:58 - Sarah: "There's plenty of time to talk about our past later"
Everyone that has played the game: "eeeeeh...."
When this game was announced the trailer show that Gabe is going to die early in the game, but no one knew how.
I'm SO glad you were not spoiled about the story for this game! :)
You are correct. You got all five chapters of True Colors rather than wait episode by episode.
Happy Anniversary 🥰 and Happy Birthday to Jay!
Gotcha again. I cracked up, lol.
Awesome video 😊
