Just replay the frieza mission again and during the fight use the spirit bomb (it's a skill"LEND ME YOUR ENERGY".It will trigger the sparking ultimate ).After you killed him with the spirit bomb ultimate it will be then the cannon ending with ssj goku and full power frieza.
Guys can someone explain 😭 i’ve started the goku story and i didn’t have to fight frieza, or the ginyu force or anything. Vegeta turned super saiyan on namek, fought him and now it doesn’t go further? It’s like the story has ended??

I'm 27 now just starting ti get into dragon ball z so like are the games it's own story or do the follow the series and just let you play it out like this game
The games usually follow the story to a degree but this game introduces "what if" scenarios
They follow the story enough that you will get all the narrative beats. Most of my understanding came from the old games and mangas I could find.
I'm trying to complete what if scenarios for goku but in the middle of the battle for frieza he stops and just does the spirit bomb, when I'm trying to beat frieza without it! Why does it keep happening? Am I running out of time?

on standard control settings, hold left on the dpad and choose a face button that has the character image attached to it.

how do you beat android 16? as goku he’s using his explosion on me
You can evade those by flying to the side. But I completed the android 16 mission several times and it wont give me the next mission i just have to keep replaying the android 16 fight...
