GENIUS AS ALWAYS. I do want to say, you have the most amazing subscribers. For their comments to me last week was so special to me. They don't know me or my story but their thoughts and words of encouragement got me through the week. Thank you to every one of you. I flushed the pills. It's been rough since grandma/mom went to heaven and left me alone. Because of you all, I don't feel alone anymore. Thank you
So happy you flushed the pills and possibly looked to the Lord for your comfort. I was at a wits end one time and the Lord gave me Joshua 1:9. I memorized it and it helps me every time I need encouragement. To quote..Be strong and courageous and do not despair, for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go.
I loved the idea of putting the thread in the bird's beak! I like to sew outside on my patio and every once in a while, a bird's nest will fall down out of the tree. I find remnants of all my sewing projects in the bird's nests--some going back 2 years! (Threads, batting, and fabric) A little squirrel figurine would be appropriate on a spool of thread, as well. If I don't put away my spools of thread when I am done with my sewing projects, I find the spools of thread hanging from the trees where the squirrels have taken them (thinking they are walnuts!)
Reading your post, I remembered as a kid playing with my paper doll outside on the front steps of my house. There was a bit of a breeze and it scattered a few of the doll's outfits. A few months later, I found a bird nest with one of the paper doll's outfits woven into the nest!
I say it every time but I love all your inspirational ideas. You don't do the same old thing over & again like a lot of crafters do, like two coats of paint & decoupage, blah blah. Super videos that go way too fast. I could watch you for hours! Thank you.
Guess what is hanging in my basement? My grannies old clothespin bag, full of clothes pins. I loved the butterfly’s . You could make any design you wanted. I also love loved the cart with the cool carrots and the flocked bunny with her neat Easter bonnet. Very lovely video. Thank you Sherry, all the projects were lovely. Blessings!
I have no FAVORITE, I love all your artistry, this is THERAPY to the fullest. I'm a retired Home Health Aide, this is great for all ages groups to keep all our sense healthy. Can't wait for next week your TH-cam friend SHAUN 😊.
Oh, Sherry! The lamp is incredible! As you said, it appeared that the birds had always been attached. Your creativity is inspiring. Thank you for another enormously enjoyable video tutorial. xo.
It’s always hard to pick a favorite! Such adorable ideas! The use of a stained tablecloth to make that sweet bunny was so smart! I’ll never discard a pretty, stained cloth again!
You certainly know how to elevate common items into special decor💖. I am at a complete loss to pick a single item as a favorite... All of them are favorites. Thank you Sherry for all the inspiration! See you next week!
How you were able to visualise how the branch lamp with the birds would turn out like was genius ! I was completely taken aback at how well it turned out ! Brilliantly done ❤
Thank you so much! I think that I have just glued birds to so many things over the years that I was pretty sure it would turn out. I debated antiquing wax versus white wax, but I went with white because I thought it would look best with the cottage look I’m adding to the spare bedroom.
Absolutely love the small spool of thread with bird- but everything was wonderful 👏👏👏soooo glad you changed out the lampshade on the gorgeous redo of birds & metal base
Ooh, it’s hard to pick a favorite. I love the lamp base with the birds attached. I especially liked it with the second lampshade shown. The nest attached to the ivy branches was so pretty. And, last but certainly not least, that rabbit on the tray was just perfect! These are my top three but I enjoyed the whole video. Once again, I’m blown away by your ideas!
Oh my gosh🤯😄 the added tiny touch of gluing the thread to the little bird’s beak from the spool of thread was soooo adorable and made such a big difference. Your ideas and vision for the tiniest of details is amazing. Can’t wait to make one. What a great way to use things I already have in my stash that were just waiting for the idea and or inspiration. Thanks for yet again inspiring me.👏🏻👏🏻😁
I always love your videos, but the lamp with branches & the ceramic birds is gorgeous! Now I’m going to be looking high & low at all my thrifting spots for something similar! Fantastic video!
I love them all,but my favourite was the branch lamp with the birds that was awesome, the watering can was amazing too.Thank you for sharing your ideas with us,you are very creative.
You know I love all the bird diys. 😊 Sherry, I would love to see your take on the Easter tombs many make from clay pots. If you haven't seen them, there are many on Pinterest. Thanks for making each Monday enjoyable. ❤
My favorite were the two wooden plaques near the end of the video. The butterfly technique is really a good idea. It makes the butterflies look so real. Really all the ideas were wonderful, as always. You are just so creative.
Wow!!!! They are all so creative and inspiring but the bird lamp is hands down my favorite!! I’m on the hunt for a tree branch lamp to make my own!! Thanks so much for the ideas!!
Favourites -Love the little animal idea! Yes I agree re lamps.. Love the branch lamp with birds! The wheelbarrow is cute, & with the hat Best idea is the rabbit I have been desperate for ideas to upcycle linen with embroidery & needle work. Great idea, Now I think stuffed baby toys. Love trays too, I like this look more with the aged look
So fresh looking. If I set all the lovely things on my stove as you have I'd never want to take them off. Hmmm...that might disturb some hungry folks. Lol. Thanks for sharing.
I can't believe how creative you are! You never cease to amaze me. I loved the wheel barrow. It came out beautiful! You are my favorite crafter and I look forward to your videos every week!
Fuzzy bunny in a hat? Sign me up! The bird holding the thread is *chef's kiss* - likewise the butterflies. As always, tiny details make your work so very special. Great episode!
Sherry you are the best. Yet again I love all the DIY’s from the Thrift store. Thank you for all the great ideas to revamp my thrift store finds. See you next week❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
I absolutely love flowers! Thanks for sharing this upload!!! 🌹🥀🌺🌷🪷🏵️🪻🌻I definitely saved this video. All of the crafts shown are adorable! I have a few faux bird nests I've collected. I love the bird 🐦 🥚 nest craft!!! 🥰👋🇱🇷 Illinois
*Sherry, another heart-winning video❣️💜💕 The lamp you added the birds to and painted green with white wax is my absolute FAVORITE‼️ No one would know it was a "mash-up", so to speak.😊 I need to find something similar to upcycle for my home❣️😉 I also enjoyed your idea for making fauna from vintage fabrics...the embroidered bunny 🐇 and the quilt square butterflies 🦋 🦋 🦋 💜 are definitely MY STYLE, and a great use for the pretty parts of stained linens and small pieces of leftover fabrics. I am a bird-lover, too, and each time you put a piece of thread in a bird's 🐦 mouth on a project, it gets me right in the heart...💜...every time. Awwwe❣️💙💕🕊 I bet the birds would be cute with a sprig of greenery in their mouths, too, when something other than a vintage spool is being upcycled. 😉🌿🌱🍃*
You make me laugh out loud.........the bird lamp of course is fabulous....but the sweet little lamb wreath is my fav............As soon as thought about carrots and saw the green checked fabric, I thought of "Farmer McGregor"
I’m always searching for a mini wheelbarrow I never find them . My favorite items to repurpose are mini/small ladders , Faux windows 🪟/shutters & Wheelbarrows my top items I NEVER have any luck finding . I lovee the carrot wheelbarrow, bird lamp , fabric butterfly’s ,bird nest topiary ❤❤❤ thank you for sharing your ideas 💡
Sherry, you've inspired me in a non-crafting way. I've been debating on two colors (navy blue or moss green) to paint my kitchen's lower cabinets to hide spills; they're currently white. When I saw what you did with the bird lamp, I thought, "That's it! Green!". Thank you!!
I love it so much that I can’t wait to watch it again! The little ceramic lamb & bird were just precious and that lamp,😮- I wish that could be manufactured because so many of us want one.🤓. You’re truly Marching Forth triumphantly! (03/04th,😉)
All of your projects are genius as usual. You just have the knack for transforming things into something unimaginable. I love the lamp and I certainly knew a bird would make an appearance. I do love the quilted butterfly also and I have an old quilt wall hanging that I've used in another project. There's more to spare for this precious butterfly. I was so excited about the wheel barrel because I thrifted a similar one. I did paint it brown already with some white wash. Now I have a plan to embellish it thanks to you Sherry. This was a fun video wondering what was next. Thank you for sharing your skills and mostly your inspiration. ❤️❤️🙏
Hi Sherry!! It goes without saying - I always love all your projects! Excited to see your room makeover using the branch lamp. Thank you for the stained pillow case bunny idea - it's beautiful - and I always see vintage stained fabric at thrift stores . Thanks for sharing 😊❤️
Sherry, your creativity never ceases to amaze me! All the projects were awesome! But my favorites were the bird lamp and the watering can arrangement. I actually have my grandmother’s watering can. Circa late 1800s. She was a master gardener and floral designer. I will be copying your idea to do a spring arrangement in it. Thanks for the continued inspiration to think “outside the box”.
Oh my goodness, I thought I was crafty and thrifty- you've escalated the whole process! I've learned so much and I adore your videos!!! # newsubscriber
I love your videos & all the crafty designs you come up with, especially the thrift stores flips. Just an FYI, the "watering can" is actually an oil can. My grandpa always had a couple in the garage. Thank you for such wonderful designs.
No favorites for me cuz I loved each one you did. You just continue to amaze me at how creative you are. I just wish I had the great stash of items you seen to have. Unfortunately my Goodwill has gone so commercial n so overly priced. Even those bags of items are ridiculously over priced. And of course they are selling items from Walmart or Target n maybe drop them done a dollar from regular price. It’s really sad for those people who enjoy doing crafts or makeovers. Where you live in Illinois hasn’t gotten to that area n you do have some wonderful thrift stores too. Our Goodwill is a franchise. Independently own. Either way… I love what you do n to me you’ve earned the biggest star there is. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟
Sherry, I have multiple pieces of old ‘vine’ from faux ivy plants that have lost a lot of leaves. I usually just use them in small pieces tucked into other greenery bits but I see now I could be making such cute topiary style rounds as you did in this video. And the straw hat was just what the flocked bunny needed! I also have several small figurines that seem too dinky on their own and I am missing tucking them in my small arrangements because it just makes it look so much more interesting. I shop the Goodwill bin store and watch other ladies gathering bits of home decor and I see them pass on pieces that make me wonder WHY?, and I figure it’s because they haven’t discovered your TH-cam channel yet so they can see the value of the pieces they leave behind!😂 You provide me such a fresh eye when I am ‘digging for treasure’ in the bins. Now I am on the hunt for a lamp to redo like that gorgeous with the birds. That was swoon worthy in my book! I am going today and am excited to look for certain items now. Crossing my fingers for good luck but armed with a good eye now thanks to YOU.❤️
I loved every single project! I think I have everything that you used for the most part for each project, except maybe the lamp. Now, if I can just find all of my stash to make these projects, it’ll be a hit! Thank you for sharing all of your great inspiration And detailed tutorials.
GENIUS AS ALWAYS. I do want to say, you have the most amazing subscribers. For their comments to me last week was so special to me. @@mikki3961 thank you so much
Hang in there Mikki. You’re more important than you can ever realize. Sending many positive vibes your way.
Never feel alone people on here are lovely sending you love from U.K.
The bird lamp was my favorite! I couldn't believe the transformation. It looked especially lovely with the patterned shade.
I loved the idea of putting the thread in the bird's beak!
I like to sew outside on my patio and every once in a while, a bird's nest will fall down out of the tree.
I find remnants of all my sewing projects in the bird's nests--some going back 2 years! (Threads, batting, and fabric)
A little squirrel figurine would be appropriate on a spool of thread, as well.
If I don't put away my spools of thread when I am done with my sewing projects, I find the spools of thread hanging from the trees where the squirrels have taken them (thinking they are walnuts!)
Squirrels are very intelligent, I don't think they're mistaking the spools for walnuts, I think they're playing with them.
🐿 💞💕
Reading your post, I remembered as a kid playing with my paper doll outside on the front steps of my house. There was a bit of a breeze and it scattered a few of the doll's outfits. A few months later, I found a bird nest with one of the paper doll's outfits woven into the nest!

The bird lamp came out beautiful and I love that new lamp shade with it.
All projects were fabulous but I am partial to the stuffed bunny with embroidered needlework.
Blessings!

It’s always hard to pick a favorite! Such adorable ideas! The use of a stained tablecloth to make that sweet bunny was so smart! I’ll never discard a pretty, stained cloth again!
I thought all the items were great, but, I'm in love with the bird lamp! So, so pretty!

Absolutely love the small spool of thread with bird- but everything was wonderful 👏👏👏soooo glad you changed out the lampshade on the gorgeous redo of birds & metal base
I love the stuffed rabbit pillow. A chenille bedspread scrap would make a darling lamb pillow. Thanks again for the inspiration!
Thank you, Donna! Yes, chenille would make an adorable lamb!!! I have a chenille scrap, so I may have to make one in a future video.
Ooh, I have chenille and love lambs, thanks for sharing. 😊
You are so creative. You see the possibility in everything. So fun to watch you create.
Oh, thank you, Phyllis! 😊
It's hard to pick a favorite but the quilt butterfly and the wheelbarrow get my vote.
Oh these are all so cute! But my favorite was the bird lamp! Am in love with that one.
Oh my goodness...EVERY idea was wonderful! You are such a creative person. Thanks for sharing! Happy Spring!
