This is so perfect. Some producer would have probably put a rock or metal theme for this show because of Metallica and ACDC, but Mike Judge made this catchy riff that's more laid back bluesy and it fits the energy of Beavis and Butthead so well.
Totally. It's really DIY-sounding, especially that drum loop and the fuzzy guitar, but it fits the kind of show that this is. I feel like if Mike Judge had made a cleaner-sounding recording of this, like with a full band instead of just himself playing all the instruments, or got someone else to re-record it, it would've lost some of the magic.
Love the whole resurgence of BnB in 2022. Its almost like renaissance of the 90s. For some reason, I never watched them when I was a teenager. But now in my mid 30s, I finally get their humour. With so little to be happy about, leave alone laugh at, BnB revival is definitely keeping me sane in these difficult times!
You didn't enjoy it in the 90s? When I first saw a few episodes when I was 11 I was on the floor rolling in agony because I was laughing so hard and I couldn't stop There was just nothing like it.
90s child too. My older brother was a fan of the show and often waited until 11 pm to watch Beavis and Butthead. My mom hated the show due to how stupid they are and the volatile nature of the show. She didn't mind my older brother and I watching the Simpsons, but she didn't allow us to watch B&B while we were growing up. He often watched the show while our mom slept(my dad was in the Navy and travelling abroad). My older brother and his friend dressed up for Halloween as Beavis and Butthead.
It's one of the purest distillations of blues back beat you'll ever hear. It's not virtuosic, nor is it complex, but it's pure ear-sex. Really learn this song and you've learned 75% of what you need to know about the entirety of rock music.
There's an internet rumor that this song is by AC/DC. Cool idea, but it's not true. It's by Mike Judge, creator of the show and voice of Beavis & Butthead.
I love how Cornholio always contradicts himself. First he says he needs TP for his bunghole, then he says he has no bunghole, then he says "you are a bunghole, and so am I". Well, which is it?
I remember when Beavis and Butthead first aired on mtv from back in the day, oh boy do I ever remember. At first I didn't know what to think of it, like I'm being serious here. So i gave it a chance and i watched like 9 episodes of it and after that I just became a big fan of Beavis and Butthead. One thing I didn't like too much was the fact that, it seems like they showed more of the music videos then Beavis and buttheaded themselves. Don't get me wrong, I thought Beavis and Butthead was like the coolest thing of all. It was just some of the music videos that shouldn't have been played on there. When Beavis and Butthead the movie, I thought that was like the coolest of all. I'm just hoping that comedy Central, will still come through with having Beavis and Butthead on their network.
@@mochasweet4966 Yes it is true. So you're calling Mike Judge a liar huh ? He was on one of the late night shows right after the show premiered and said he wrote the song and played all the instruments. You probably believe Mike Judge did not do most of the voices on the show either, even though there are many live videos of Judge on YT of him doing the voices. I have read many articles online that say he wrote and played the theme song. Why don't you find an article that says Judge did NOT write and perform the song and post it to YT - OK ? If I find the interview or the article I WILL post it on YT
@@shaneinkster4775 That's what he did. I guess you didn't realize that could be done. Musicians have been doing that ever since they invented multi track recorders 75 years ago. Tom Schulz of Boston recorded the first Boston album by himself in his basement and played all the instruments. later he added Brad Delps vocals and over rode the drums with a drummer. To name a few Jimi Hendrix played the bass guitar and the lead guiatr on All along the Watchtower and Stevie Wonder played the drums and the Clavichord on Superstation. Ray Parker Jr. played the drums, bass guitar, and guitar on The Other Woman. Look all that up.

Beavis and Butt-Head are not role models. They're not even human. They're cartoons. Some of the things they do would cause a real person to get hurt, expelled, possibly thrown out of the country. To put it another way: don't try this at home.
