OLTL is the Best Soap Opera out of them all! They never should have cancelled it! I love and miss OLTL so much💯💯💚💚
Wow, I grew up watching those early soaps. Takes me back...thanks!
Wow, I seen soaps form the early days. I knw of a few of them but, wow that is a lot of them. Its sad to see many leave the air thru the years, but we will always have memories of them all. I glad you put some of the Prime Time soaps in there. Even the half comedy one form CBS Mary Heartman Mary Heartman
It was a movie in the 50s with Lana Turner and Hope Lange based on a novel by Grace metalious.
In the 60s it was a soap opera with Mia Farrow and Ryan O'Neal.
This is pretty cool. Thanks for posting this. It's really interesting to know how many soaps have been on tv over the past several decades. The only ones that I know of is AMC, Another World, ATWT, B&B, The City, Dallas, DOOL, The Doctors, Dynasty, Generations, GH, GH: NS, GL, Knot's Landing, Loving, Melrose Place, OLTL, Pacific Palisades, Passions, Port Charles, Ryan's Hope, Santa Barbara, Search for Tomorrow, Sunset Beach, and The Young and Restless. Those are the only ones that I know of.
I remember the soap How To Survive A Marriage back in the 70's. I would run home from the bus stop to catch the last 20 minutes of it. Back then my Mom didn't want me watching soaps but they were nothing compared to what some are today. I also loved All My Children Ryans Hope and Guiding Light. These were the ones I watched throughout the years I cant remember the last time I watched a soap opera.....who has the time? Thanks for the memories
Falcon Crest is my best American Soap Opera ever.
awesome job with this! I really enjoyed
watching, brought back some good memories!
Well done!
Nostalgically wonderful video!
I love Undressed. They should release it on DVD.
Really fantastic! Wish you'd been able to include Peyton Place, but otherwise, so many memories!
Beverly Hills 90210 was missed. Melrose Place was the spinoff of Beverly Hills 90210.
I see the show Hotel was included here. Hotel was not a soap. Hotel was basically the Love Boat set in a hotel, different guest stars every week.
Point Pleasant...Woot.
@kxx46
I agree. Peyton Place was groundbreaking as the first primetime serial & set the trend for Dynasty, Knots Landing, Dallas & Falcon Crest.. It should be there! :-) So should How To Survive A Marriage, Rituals & Valley of the Dolls.
ATWT and Dante's Cove= MORE PLEASE.
:DD
pretty cool
I wasn't being rude..sorry if it appeared that way. The answer is mentioned in the "uploader comments" section.
Yes
Great work but you kinda rushed through it, *especially* Another World.
How to Survive a Marraige, Where the Heart Is, Secret Storm, Best of Everything, The Doctors,
What about ...The Best of Everything, A World Apart, The Young Marrieds, Bright Promise, Where the Heart Is, How to Survive a Marriage, Return to Peyton Place, nighttime Peyton Place, Our Private World (ATWT's short-lived prime-time spin-off), Hidden Faces, Young Dr. Malone...
Port Charles...
Where was Beverly Hills, 90210?
What, no Spyder Games? otherwise, Kudos!
Was One Life to Live on here???

You know Mary Hartman was a spoof.
Peyton Place ?
They left out Star Trek. Sorry, but from TNG through Voyager the story line does classify it as a Soap.
I'm somewhat inclined to agree, especially when Jean-Luc(Patrick Stewart) lectures Crusher about the 'First Duty'!
Ahem, this was already answered..
@VaultMasterDBT
Well, I didn't see that - you could have done without the rudeness.
