    Sir you have covered everything in vivid detail , very useful
    Few requests sir-
    - could you give a lecture on peripheral nerve injuries radial/ median/ulnar.
    I've heard your nerve lectures are legendary. I understand that itself will take 2-3 months to cover
    - could you cover topics like swan neck/ boutonnieres . As these are not commonly discussed.
    - could you dwell into topics other than hand injury like lower limb reconstruction , burns ...
    As im sure you have extensive experience in those areas too .
    - could you pls cover congenital hand anomalies in the future..
    - our faternity is truly blessed to have teacher's like you , as not many ppl will share their knowledge...

      Sure Nazgul. All those topics that you have mentioned are all in the pipeline, and they will be dealt with in the same detail as now! Thanks for the feedback, and all the best!

    I thank you very much for this information as I continue my journey after going through surgery for my middle finger. I’ve watched prior videos that go into the actual surgery before getting the surgery to reassure all would be well and I was able to talk to my Surgeon beforehand to prepare for such an operation. Thanks again and I’m looking forward to full recovery.

    Sir what a wonderful presentation.. is it possible to explain why the wrist is kept in mild flexion rather than the functional mild extension position

    Sir, your lection probably has saved my fingers! Thank you very much! May I ask a question? How much time should pass after flexor tendon repair before I can safely go back to heavy exercises in a gym? I have such a scare of rerupture!

    • @GKHandSurgery
      @GKHandSurgery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      After 3 months, you can gradually start increasing the weights you lift. Very slowly, over a period of another 4 months, you can reach your weights level that you had before the injury.

      My dear friend, only a clinical examination will be able to tell us. I'm sure your surgeon will be able to guide you correctly!
