Hi james, for the maverick gauntlet part, is there a reason why i dont get critical during 1st swipe therefore end up filling rage only at the end of the turn?
Focus gives you +25% chance to crit and an upgraded gauntlet gives you +24% chance to crit Then there's some unknown base % chance to crit aswell, but this is the only way to make your punches crit more often.
Can I use a mythic hammer instead of the sword? I accidentally made a unique hammer to sacrifice and have now committed to making a mythic hammer. I’m use chaotic gaunt too so would that still work?
Well I guess you could but the sword has a better synergy with the maverick gauntlet while the hammer is better with chaotic gauntlet. (The protect is useful everywhere while the focus has an amazing synergy with the maverick gauntlet so its up to you to decide even though I personally think sword is better)
This depends entirely on which hero class you choose Grimm does make PvE stuff easier because he offers better heals I am planning to do a video in the future ranking each class and hopefully help people decide which one they think will suit them best

Keep farming the roaming monsters and try forge stuff up. You can get a helmet from the hunt master too

That is what I normally use, but I am going to switch to sword

No. Armour charms multiply the total across all pieces, so it doesn't matter at all.
