Michael and Anita's work has gotten me through some really rough times. Even though things are well with me, I tap into them to keep my garden of mental sanity fertilized and nurtured. Thank you both so much!

The darkness analogy is perfect to illustrate the "non existence" of fear. Because darkness does not "exist" really. But for all intents and purposes, in our experience of life, darkness totally exists. Not only does it exist, its litterally all over the place, it can get anywhere, it is always first to arrive and is quick to devour everything in its way. It is faster than light, it is absolutely all powerful... until you wake up to the reality, that it does not exist at all. It isnt faster than light, doesnt arrive first, cant get anywhere... because it doesn’t exist, it only looks like it is, when we view the world in terms of duality.

I listen to, and watch this video,
and as I do, so much pain arises in me.
    A flood of suffering.
    Anguish and torment:
saturate every cell of my being.
I am depressed, I am lonely,
I am filled with rage and grief.
And on the inside, I am dying.
My soul is suffocated and paralyzed and raped.
I wish for death, and nothing else.
I can no longer bear the pain
of the hell that this world is.
    I want to die.
    Death is my only wish.

Everything Anita tells was already known in the Orthodox Christian theology :)
