  • Last year my friend Michael and I did a workshop together in Los Angeles which turned out to be something much bigger and more powerful than we had expected when we planned it. anitamoorjani....
We haven't been able to find time do do part 2 yet so we decided to do a Skype call this week and invited the regular viewers to my show to join us. I think this must have been part 1.5 and there were about 500 people who watched it live as it was being streamed.
There are so many nuggets of wealth in our conversation that this week I'm not going to give you a synopsis of the show as everybody who watches will find something different. What I am going to ask is that if you do find something special, put it into the comments for me.
If you find something which you think will benefit somebody you know, please send them this video or a link to this video and please remember to Subscribe to my channel if you haven't already done so.
If you want to watch the show live, you can find it on anitamoorjani.... every Sunday at 12 noon Pacific / 3pm Eastern / 8pm GMT
    With love

Thank you Anita. What a beautiful discussion. I absolutely agree that enlightenment is found within in a place of moments of silent discernment punctuated by lessons from interaction with the world and not at the feet of gurus. And that it's a continual process of dipping down into the world into experience and reaching up to connect ourselves and our conscious understanding to Source. Our only way to live is with our feet on the earth and reaching up to connect with God within us. We are here to fully experience being human while transcending the limitations of our physical form and mind in a place of love and faith.
I disagree that the ego disappears, but rather is fully integrated into our connection with the divine. That it no longer controls our steering wheel but rather becomes a passenger in our much greater vehicle. As you beautifully said, everything about us is Godding.

I was resting. Not thinking but completely aware.
    Just be-ing.
It was like a still point happened. And I was my Real Self which is Unconditional Love. A Divine Energy so pure and perfect. Yet, words pale to describe.
It is who I AM and is who we all ARE.
I wasn't seeking. I would not have known what to seek, in words.
Anita is right. You don't have to die. And, if or when you experience this, it will be unexpected, yet in right timing. 💕

Our ego and our intellect are required for operating in this form, just as much as our bodies are. The problem is that we think that our ego and thoughts are who we are, when they are tools just as much as our body is. They are all tools for this experience, to use your words Anita. Part of awakening to the "God within" is unhooking from the ego as self. It's still there, we just don't identify with that piece of us. It's so hard to know how to be in both selves sometimes. Healthy ego growth is the groundwork for soul growth.
Thanks for the great conversation. I love the idea of getting God into our bones. Sounds like the beginning of a poem or a book!
I am hoping to go on the cruise!

Beautiful Anita, thank you so much for bringing this amazing chat to TH-cam!
I have thought so much about the ego conundrum and, when asked to the Universe what is exactly what the ego is, the response that intuitively came to me was 'Perception'. So I kind of stopped trying to dim it or squash it and my approach since then has been enlarging my ego, so I can acomodate the most of everything and everyone with in. At the end of it, my ego is of my making, is my work in progress, so I can shape it to give this individual experience that I am having the broadest perspective possible. What I have found is that, as I progress with this ego 'enlargement' , I am less and less connected with victimhood, fear or judgemental thinking and experiencing emotions of any kind with increasing equanimity, which is quite freeing. It has also created a lot of new space in me, so I am not so much in tune with the drama around and more focused on the potential growth that we can obtain from our current dilemmas. It is not that I do not care, I just do not feel like we are doomed or failed, but that everything is part of a larger project of collective evolution and that's hopeful.

Knock Out pleas , my pleasure, I was in this state, I didn't know what's working, I feel loved and loving everyone, I have seen people getting attracted to me ,but I was so naive, I fall of off it, trapped in The negativity, don't know what happened, but I do know now, trying to get back to it , I wish I knew about empath, back then, . For those of you who got to that frequency of the enlightendment , when you healp some one, with negativity, becarful you don't get suck down there, it will be hard to get back up. That's where I am at.
      I remember reading a book
I don't remember the outers name, The title of the book was *excuse me your life is waiting* in this book I remember saying ( becarful of getting emmercing your self, with people with negativity, soon their problem will become your problem)
I was the living example of that statement. I'm doing good now, even better, because experience makes you a abetter person *if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger* it is also very helpfull listening to people like Anita.. thank you

Interesting what you said about shared NDEs and about the non-experience of Emptiness-Fullness within as enlightenment.
I had my own such STE/NDE when I was just 9 years of age, when my mother committed suicide with an overdose of sleeping pills.
I was outside the locked door of the room she was in, and I could hear her last gasps calling my name as my world imploded..
My intense grief suddenly turned to joy as I felt a Clear Light rush into the void at the bottom of my soul and I began to laugh uncontrollably.
I got up right away after that and sounded the alarm.
That clarity never left me although it would get covered by the ignorance of others for a while.
Where I had been a dull student up till then, I immediately became a genius and top student excelling in all subjects with ease👼
The next big shock (a relief actually in many ways tbh!) was the death of my rather authoritarian academic father on his honeymoon to his 3rd wife a Hindu woman Mohini, who changed her name to Mariam and converted to Islam to marry my Dad.
That was when I was 12 and gave me a lot of insight into seeking knowledge for it's own sake (like wealth or enlightenment experiences)

The medical doctor, Jeffery Long, in his book, God and the Afterlife, shows the difficulty that so many of the near death experiences have, in their efforts to describe their contact with the Divine, grappling with the limitations of language, the word "God," seems too small to contain the magnificence of the tremendous force of unconditional Love that they encounter: a beautiful book; superlative, uplifting stories! Yes, I have Anita's book too.

You are SO right about the ego and empathetic people, Anita. I think, to some extent, there is also a female/male disparity here. Due to the patriarchal nature of most of human culture (in some world cultures more visible, in others a background hum that is all the more powerful for being invisible), women are more likely not only to question their personal power and agency but to be told by gurus and others that it is wrong to have power, or that it must always be used in the service of others, right up to becoming a doormat. I even noticed quite a difference in the way each of you addressed the question of ego and I wonder if that comes from differing experiences in dealing with the power politics of everyday life as a man or a woman...

It is not true that you will lose yourself to others' needs without an ego. It is your ego in the first place that is the people-pleaser. Ego is trying to ensure its survival and therefore tries to make everyone else feel good. Without ego, you would follow your heart without hesitation. You would just know what to do because there is no resistance toward your inner guidance.

When you get out of the religious mindset of describing God, it can be fun to create god in your mind. God can be anything and everything you want it to be. To me God is both invisible and everything visible in the known and unknown universe. One thing I know is that 'God' is NOT the old white bearded man in the sky that I believed as a child - who actually turned out to be Santa Claus.

Thank you so much for this. Much food for thought. In your own words, we are all expressing as God but we also have to lose ourselves to truly be God? So then we are perfect as ourselves but we are also not?
If we are God expressing God then God is everything that we experience? So God is also the egoic guru disempowering the student? Or the soldier killing an innocent person? I believe those actions are a separation from God not God expressing through someone.
From my experience as the observer and passenger, and as a sixth sensory being, God source is pure consciousness and Love. There are unfortunately other energies of negativity acting upon the minds and energy systems of humanity which keep them confused and separated from source love. It takes great spiritual strength to remain aligned with our true source love creator and not lost or acting within a fear illusion.
I do not believe that we are all expressing God by just simply being who we are as much as that sounds lovely but God does love us all. God does not kill nor does God disempower another or even become angry with another. God is Love, pure unconditional love. Anything else is not really God. It is an experience of separation from God and the God within us. It is really an expression of the other energy acting upon humanity which goes deeper than the simplicity of ego.
I also choose a space of separation from those who are not expressing love so I remain connected to the love I am. A ‘loneliness’ without feeling lonely because I choose alignment with love and I choose life. 💗💗

  • @MaryamMaqdisi

I gotta disagree with the clever play on words that says "humility isn't thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less". It just feels very disempowering to me. It might be profound or useful to people with different life stories or personality traits, I'm not here to judge the message or people who might like it. Just here to say that I find humility in serving, and to serve I gotta start by serving myself. I find humility in meaning, and to find meaning I gotta find me. If I don't treat my human self with love, and making me feel like a child again, I know I'll implode and hurt myself, spending less time thinking of me just to fit an imposed virtue isn't for me. I think humility, as most other virtues (if not all of them) is just about recognizing that you're lovable, that you deserve love, giving yourself that love and listening to your own feedback so you can trust yourself and love yourself even more. Because when you truly love yourself, you can't be selfish. When you truly love yourself, you're God loving God. And you get to the same point, where you don't need to serve an ego, but everything starts there, in your own, human self. You won't stop being a human unless you cross over. So you might as well treat yourself kindly and have a blast. Trust yourself. That's when you can achieve true love and true humility.
So a final disclaimer, I don't wanna criticize anyone, I'm just trying to tell other people that feel the same way than I do: there's nothing wrong with you, and remember what Anita says, if any message feels disempowering, don't follow it. If it empowers you in a healthy way, go with it!!!

I’m sorry I have to be the critical one here. “Driving behind a beer truck” for a wake up call is NOTHING compared to an NDE Mr Neill... let’s not lessen the amazing impact of an NDE. It’s very unique in the way it wakes someone up. Yes there are other ways someone has an awakening, but an NDE is such a profound way!
I know half of you will blame this on my ego, or maybe I’m projecting.
I don’t like how Neill’s ego wants to be puffed up and feel more important. It feels like he limits Anita’s experiences. It’s really hard for me to watch and not see that unfolding. I’m very psychic and can see these things very clearly.

The reality of Enlightenment is actually a vibrational phenomenon, not a cognitive one. This gentleman, despite his articulateness and supposed spiritual savvy, is really nothing more than a 'spiritellectual' - i.e., too glib, too all-knowing, too spiritually obnoxious to actually dwell in his native innocence in the presence of others. Rather, he cannot seem to help himself from grandstanding, whether it be on behalf of his book, or on behalf of his super subtle perception of the pitfalls of ego, in contrast to totally authentic and disarming spirituality: he parades his knowing in very clever ways while retaining a very firm grip on his supposedly transparent ego.
It is to Anita's credit that she even considers sharing the platform with him, has he seems to agree with her in word while not at all the green with her at a vibrational level

I truly believe God experiences physical life through each of Her/His creations as humans, animals, and vegetal,...
