Haven't sung this in six months since my previous comment to you. I sang just now to another pianist, mechanical and metronomic, and it totally dis-inspired me. When I saw you, Iryna, I knew - here was a soul who felt Mozart and this aria to her depths. Iryna, you inspired me! I sang again like I did when I first learnt it at 19 in the music academy - and here it is 40 years later and I still sing it. You are a musical soul and you bring out the best in your singers.
I'm back to Deh Vieni, 4 months since my last essay with Iryna, and again, musical joy and contentment! Thank you, Iryna, for being my favorite collaborator in Mozart - at Juilliard the department is not called piano accompaniment - it's called piano collaboration.
Thank you, Iryna. Well played and the tempo was just right, including the ritardandi, very clear. At the beginnig the recitativo seemed to be fast but after a little practice, it went well. This accompainment helped me a lot, thank you very much.
Whoever knows what recitative means (recite should be close to speech speed) understands that this is the correct duration for recitative. What most singers sing is not of course indicative as someone suggested. Sopranos are driven more by their beauty of their voice rather than comprehension of the text. Most of opera’s action is happening during recitatives so anything closer to theatrical speech (tempo, diction etc) is correct. I disagree with the tempo of aria part. I find it a little fast which on the contrary should be relaxed and slow as it refers to beauty of nature and love...
Ha ha I could not keep up with you in the recit but I loved hearing the accompaniment finally, this was so helpful thank you! You play so much better than I.

I loved you initiative, but the recitative need to be slow. Listen some singers singing live. Good luck with the channel. Im a student soprano from Brazil and already had performed It.

This aria is deliciously pornographic. The fornicatious beat after recitative, melody and of course, climax. Mozart's genius. Gentlemen, if you're doing it right, this is how this lady will sing...
Fabulous accompaniment. You’re so clear when you’re going to change chord. Thank you for the wonderful tempo. Just right. Thank you. Bravo!
Thanks for doing this. I find the accompanist breathing even helps me.

You should do one of the _other_ aria that goes with that recit, All desio di chi t'adora. It's actually quite fun to play!
