I agree with all your talking points. You are not wrong. I have been going to the same person for 14 years. His style and is simple. Tell him what you want and he will tell you what works and doesn’t. He picks the color, design and maybe incorporates some of the customer elements. You come in on tattoo day and whatever he created you either take it or leave it. I love that!
He does not like customers telling him how…. He does the how and that’s what you pay for! Same goes with face and head tattoos. If he looks at a young person asking he says nope! He doesn’t want his name tied that. I respect that. Might not be the best of the best but his tattoos last and look fresh 15 years done the road.
