Is this the only caravan park in Heacham? I only ask, as my parents had a static caravan on a caravan park there back in the early 1980s. It was a cheapy old blue and white rounded 4 birth thing. I recall as soon as you got onto the park, there was the shop, which smelled of sweets and newspaper. As kids, we always spent most of our time there. There was also a small toilet and shower block, but that was just about it. The caravan park was on the righthand side, on the way to the beach...Ah thinking about it, there must have been another park, as I recall, I was told by my Dad that the caravans nearer the beach were susceptible to flooding on the odd rare occasion. So the park our caravan was at, was a tiny bit closer inland and nearer to town, than I initially thought.
