Wet is literally one of the most underrated bands I’ve ever seen. Their first album was FIRE and judging by the two songs they’ve recently released I’m so frickin excited for their new album !!! This was so beautiful and Softens is such a masterpiece wow oh wow.
My brother loved you guys, and then he passed away because of cancer. I only found out about you guys cause his spotify still lives on and "There's a reason" made all emotions come alive. I wish he could've heard it. Thank you
Although I've loved this song since it came out, for some reason when i listened to it this time I was imagining a little puppy, or young dog (and dogs/animals in general) who are lost, sold, in pounds, etc who are separated from their human or animal family bonds & tormented, but people continue to "breed" n sell puppies, or give away n split up the animals families; some are horribly neglected &/or physically abused, but are completely trapped n at the mercy of people who "own" them; just all of the torments that this beautiful creatures go through. And, i was thinking of her singing this song to them, for them, about them. What kids need is to see us choose to be as happy and loving as is possible no matter what, but to still be genuine and have great boundaries!.... It sounds like you did well. :-)
