Jae revealed to us recently that Sungjin doesn’t originally have that “raspy” vocal. He had to try to make his voice sound raspy because all DAY6 member sound so “clear”.
Jae had a vlog on his youtube channel showing how they went out to record cicada sound to put into their song (it's September song, "I liked you"). That aside, you'll see YoungK sleep whenever he could in that vlog. It's a tough year for him, exam crash with concerts, writing songs, writing lyrics, shooting MVs.... He said on the ZacSangShow that it's a productive year they grew a lot as musicians, but no more project like this when asked... Lol
You Were Beautiful (YWB) it's basically a continuation to Congratulations. YWB It's the point of view of the woman, meanwhile congratulations it's the man's PS: YWB also have an english version!! Yay, more Day6! In a lot of the earlier songs, they do give Bob the chorus because he is then identified as the main vocal. But in the releases since 2018, they've broken out of a "formula" when it comes to vocals, and they now seem to distribute parts based on whose voice suits a certain part of a song. (Although they said once, probably jokingly, that they play Rock Paper Scissors to decide on who sings what. 🤣)
@@SommReacts They actually did the RPS with the the song Talking To to decide who writes the lyrics and the melody on specific parts and you'll really get a feel do each of their styles there. It's so cool!

Most K-idols sing to this song ㅎㅎㅎ It’s a timeless classic that everyone can somehow relate to and you’ll never get tired of it at first listen. Can’t wait for you to listen to all!!!

You talked about they writing many more songs to get the released two. This year Day6 let out some of their unreleased song (not pass company standard) on their official youtube channel. They are demos sang by the main writer (I guess because only one day6 member sang on those songs) eg. YoungK "text me now". Please add these unreleased songs on your day6 journey :)
