Still There hits me well❤ i always love their crying voices, even if ur not sad or it didnt happened to u but sometimes u'll remember ur heartaches in the past..it feels like ur so much affected by their songs 😢
I agree w/ Sungjin’s vocals. That’s why I’m looking forward to his solo album (apparently may be out this year?!) because I’m hoping he’s going to sing more rnb/ballad songs because he does emotion soo welll.
Still there is my favorite, that ending part of young k alone. Masterpiece! I'm not even surprised at this point it, its always the sad songs/last track of the album I love the most. still, hurt road, cover, like a flowing wind, afraid, so let's love, didn't know, and still there 💯
I hope you check out their Album Production!! It’s been almost a decade but they decided to FINALLY show us how DAY6 works with their masterpieces. The lastest episode has recently been uploaded in their channel today!
Funny you said you don’t know how many takes it took for members to sing still there to get the emotion right when Wonpil said he did it in one take because he went in with 200% emotions the first take. In this album, monster is my most fav and still there second. Monster and Still there are great songs with great vocals but what gets to me the most is lyrics. In still there, the part that gave me the most chill is the entire ending by YoungK His emotive delivery and his beautiful poetic lyrics (not sure if English translation comes through quite right… all written exactly in 6 syllables l, the song climaxes with strings when the lyrics reminisce on the time together, then suddenly reduced to just slow tick tock to a present time protagonist with scaled down youngKs voice with lyrics exactly the opposite to what was just sung still in 6 syllables sort of amplifies the loneliness and the person being stuck in the past and can’t let go)
My fave is Still There ... This song is so unique... Especially with chorus which start with low register voice... I could imagine if they sing this song with full orchestra... It will be wow!!! Btw i must say ... FourEver is a great comeback song but they play "safe" in that's album (no negative meaning about that) ... But Band Aid is a masterpiece... They have experiments with this album n give us surprise in every song ....
Hi I hope you will react to their Still There with orchestra/ string section from The Present 2024 ... I cried a lot in that song ... (And for all that medley with string section)
I like the way “Counter” keeps me interested musically w/ its changes. My daughter and I also love “I’m Fine.” We think it’s as if the lyrics of “How Can I Say” and “Shoot Me” had a child together, ha!! 😂 Hoping for a DAY6 concert in NA, too!! Thanks for your reactions!
loved the album reaction. All the songs are so good it’s hard to choose but if had to it would be between She Smiled, Counter, and I’m Fine but I have been playing the album nonstop🍀. Hong Jisang helps produce and compose with all the member when it come to Day6’s discography. He is like a secret member of Day6, one of the only people consistently credited on day6 song besides the members. He has help with Day6’s discography since the beginning and with the day6’s solo stuff as well.
This album is really good, I like all the songs but Still there is my favorite of this album, Sungjin's part is just perfect, I cried even when I didn't know what he was singing about, he really knows how to deliver emotions Nice reaction Somm, take care :D
I think they said the title contenders are Melt Down and Monster. I agree I'm Fine is amazing. But I think they got the general public taste down with Melt Down, so that was a good choice.
Interestingly, according to Dowoon, your favorite song I’m Fine has one of the hardest drumwork there is, Wonpil conceded that if the song drum beats is hard to play then it must be a great song! 😅 it’s my second favorite song in the album after Monster! I love Sungjin’s vocals in the song and almost all of the other songs as it fits the rock theme perfectly. Fun fact: She Smiled and Rock&Roll were written by the other members while YK was away. In Still There, the lyrics is so poignantly sad, there is a desperation that is reflected in their vocals and music. Band Aid is a masterpiece, DAY6 never fail to deliver ❤

Cant wait to go to their concerts the oct

I never get tired of listening to their voices
Help Me Rock Roll is so good and hilarious live 😂👍🏽

너와 걷던 거리
너와 치던 장난
속삭이던 사랑
아직 거기 살아
너와 쓰던 말투
너와 짓던 표정
넘쳐났던 사랑
아직 거기 살아
외로워진 거리
재미없는 장난
희미해진 사랑
나는 여기 살아
They have been produced all of their song by themselves!!!

All of them participate in composing all of their songs with hong ji sang ❤

The boys said the chord progression of I'm Fine is opposite of Not Mine thus "I'm Fine" 😂
I think, it's actually Not Fine?
