- In this short film, the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and composer, discusses studio production elements behind his hit single "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next to Me" from the 1977 album Barry White Sings for Someone You Love. The film, shot on 16mm, was produced by Joey Reynolds during his tenure as Creative Director at 20th Century Fox.

On my watch with Barry…his office was next to me at 20th century fox, I was creative director, this was filmed 16 MM, competing with Elephant parts with Mike Nesmith ( monkees) on MTV. Barry told me I was dropped on my head when I was a child he and I really had the greatest relationship any working partner could ever have because we disagreed on everything yet we respected and loved each other.
When Barry was sat at his piano, singing one of his many hits, millions upon millions of his fans totally got the......"Then you'll feel this bouncy thing" 🎵
