one pro tip for both these legendary dynamax battles and Gigantamax battles. you generally do not want to use your charge move at all during these. reason is that because these have so high stats that both your quick and charge attacks do 1 point of damage each. and since in the time of one charge, you can do multiple quick attacks. and more than the damage output, the important part is that more you attack, more dynamax/gigantamax energy you gather. so you get to the dyna/gigantamax phase much faster if you just spam quick attacks.
Yes, and the reason you want to charge up your max meter to get to the max round faster is because Max Attacks (the attacks you do during max rounds) do so much more damage than any non-max round attack.
Triple Max Guard is my strategy too. (Also, If only your pokemon in the team of four is max guarded, it will draw the targetted attacks, which leaves the other three pokemon more free to take the all-out attack role. Helpful if you are able to co-ordinate with the other players.) BTW, you're usually better off not using your charge move & just keep using your fast moves to fill out the max meter faster. Your max attacks do so much more damage than regular charge moves, it makes sense to get to the max rounds as soon as possible.
@@ferlyxo Poke Daxi has a pretty good explainer to Max pokemon & battles. th-cam.com/video/_KoV0umUVkY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=raNJ1us9fqYSG-TI There are a couple of things we know more now but it's mostly correct. Daily max particles: You can collect 800/day, hold 1000/day but they are soft limits. So the way to maximise it is to get as close to 800 particles (but still under it) before collecting the 300 particles for walking 2km. You get 100 particles for every max spot you visit. But if you have not visited that spot before, you get a 20 particle bonus (120 particles) Example: Day 1: I collect from six spots I've never visited before for 720 particles, then claim the 2km bonus = 1020 particles. Day 2: I collect from three of the spots I visited yesterday (3x 100), plus four new spots (4 x 120) = 780 particles, then cash in 2km bonus, +300 particles, is 780 + 300 = 1080 particles. For Max battles, you aim should be to get to the max round as fast as possible, so just spam fast attacks, (charged attacks add as much to the max meter but take longer). The reason you want to get to the max round a.s.a.p. is because Max Attacks do so much more damage than anything else. (Which is also why it's important to level up your max attacks).
They appear at Dynamax ppots like the other Dynamax Pokemon, and you can leave them at the power spot once you've defeated another dynamax pokemon as long as it was on your team. Not sure if that's what you're asking?
My experience was similar. I did triple max guard on Blastoise and he didn't die at all. We also had a guy who was being carried (he had a wooloo). I didn't actually mind carrying one person, very doable and I did feel that their cheering helped when they wiped. Also had one where 2 people needed carrying which was rough, though in that raid the Articuno had a rock type ancient power so everyone with charizards got one shot off the map lol. Either way I reckon 3 prepared people can do it, but I've also seen videos of people duoing it when there were 4 gloves already supporting the power spot.
People have soloed it also and I did it with a duo me and my brother and we had metagriss machamp and Zard metagross and machamp took 2 hits as the tanks and swapped to Zard for to fire moves and we took 5 down I only caught 4 no shinys but was so fun and non of ours have any moves unlocked just all base and non had cp over 2400
we just went with two Metagross per player and one damage dealer gigantamax Toxtricity as our Gigantamax pokemon. that strategy let us just focus on attacking with no need to use either healing or shields. surely not working strategy for Gigantamax battles. but for these Dynamax battles having best possible tanks to gather energy and highest possible damage dealer is sure way to win. sure i have used my extra xl candies and dust that i have gathered to make sure that bare minimum in my team was lvl40 pokemon with emphasis more towards lvl45 or lvl50.
Bro I did same with me and my brother and 2 alt phones as we didn't have any moves unlocked to use and we took 5 down in the hour I couldn't imagine wasting health to put Shields on like ya go max to take damage use it for that everyone I seen solo it does the same as what both we did so you and your boys onto it I'm only new 2mths into playing and our cps ain't even over 2400 and we done it easy this dude bless him making out his struggling for engagement or sumthing he knew he gonna slap it he had a giga Zard left FFS I could only dream of even having that to help me 😂😂😂
