Darius and The blowfish... were going to college at the university of South Carolina in Columbia.... I could have listened to em on a cover charge.. in Columbia.. they made it big that fall

Ahhh the memories. H & the B members all 4 were students at Univ. of South Carolina in Columbia. Being Gamecock fans we would go down to catch games and hit 5 points after going to all the bars. Group Therapy, The Hunley, etc. We use to catch these guys playing the local bars before they were discovered. After they became a huge hit they would play a free concert every year in Columbia for all the local fans that supported them early on. Fun fact. Part of the video for this song was filmed in Charlotte NC at the Copal Grill on Wilkerson Blvd. They were scheduled to shoot the video that day and it rained and I mean poured down. They shot anyway and it actually made it better IMO. The Grill closed several years back after a 40-50 yr run.
