Since attending the same church for more than two decades, I relocated and discovered that many of the individuals there no longer showed interest in me. My visits were primarily for fellowship rather than the other way around. There was always someone willing to check in on my well-being, yet I never felt like I belonged to their social circle. Consequently, I've stopped attending church. Even when surrounded by a crowd in a church, I often felt isolated and alone.
I love these Ask Redeemer videos, so well explained and helpful, Thankyou !
Amen and well said!
Pastor Curtis!
Friends stand side by side, not above and below. You can't be friends with someone while thinking yourself a shepherd, and them livestock. Or thinking them lost and sick and yourself a light and a doctor. If that's the only reason you are around someone, you aren't their friend at all. Just someone trying to manipulate people you see as lesser.
Saving one from hell is a friend n we are to correct them.Right? If they reject truth bible shows spend time with sheep n let dogs be with dogs. Be kind but they will be an obstacle in your deeds n talk. You'll but heads or backslide one or other. Compromise n backslide or live n talk God n but heads
@@Charles-tv6oiI see what you’re both saying
Preach to unbelievers, not friends, however that doesn't mean we dont care for them
I go to a school where there's a lot of Mormons some atheists or what psalms 14 calls them "fools" and a Muslim and I try not to fit in because I want to stand out and I believe I do. but what I'm saying is I have no friends at school I mean I sit with people at lunch but I'm not friends with them I have like 5 friends maybe a bit more which I'm okay with, because they aren't huge believers so it's really hard on me not being able to talk openly to them because they won't get it. I do have a teacher and we always talk about Jesus and scripture and what not, he's also charismatic.
The problem with befriending unbelievers is that once they find out that you are a believer, they look at you with skepticism because they don't want to be someone's bait & switch
Lol isn't this the same line of thinking in their heads as well? Just embrace the company of unbelivers and keep your GOD to yourself. Is it that hard
@@vincent6210 Keep God to myself? That's not what Jesus said. The Great Commission commands that we share our faith with the world.
@@mrmcgowan some people just need compassion not conversion
@@vincent6210 Conversion is the most compassionate thing one can offer. Jesus leads us to eternal life & peace.
It seems like everyone I meet is a non believer. I just also would like to meet people who share the same faith as I do
Go to church then
So can i or cant i? Ugh im so confused 😢😢😢
Did you listen to the full video? The depth of friendships is key.
The Christ was under the law, but Paul was under Grace KJV Rom 6:14; therefore, we mush follow Paul 1Cor 11:1.
We will be judged from Paul's gospels Rom 2:16; not the gospels of Jesus.
Huh? We are under the law of Christ, just as Paul was (1 Cor. 9:21). We follow Christ, just as Paul did.
@Becky Frechette Do you think Paul was kidding: Paul received his word from Christ KJV Gal 1:12. According to the rest of the bible, this word was a mystery Rom 16:25.
Jesus and all before him kept the Sabbath; but Paul tells us to have nothing to do with it Col 2:16.
