Id like to play a cunning Henry in my first playthrough. Good at speech for diffusing situations but very good at being sneaky. If all else fails, he will use his dagger and poison laced shortsword/bowandarrows to get rid of the opposition.
@ThatAussieBrit19 At start of the game, you get to choose a head start in one of 3 playstyles: *Soldier* , *Adviser* , *Scout* Soldier is probably warfare and weapon skills Adviser is probably speech and scholarship Scout is probably thievery and survival
The best weapons ARE, in fact, restricted to blacksmithing - they are the fourth, special Henry tier, that you only get from a perk in the craftsmanship tree.
That is awesome. It's nice when effort put into a mechanic is rewarded. After all what is the point in engaging with the crafting if you can get better stuff by buying it.
@ Yeah, I mean, we don't know if there are some legendary one-off weapons you could find out in the world like there was in the first game, so maybe something else can match, but otherwise, yeah - the best stuff is the stuff Henry crafts. Which is pretty cool imho, you ARE after all the son of a legendary blacksmith...
For real, I feel like low key skills are going to be the best skills you can level up just like in the first game. Except pickpocketing. That one was useless. Even tasks that required pickpocketing were much easier done with just non lethal takedown and stealing once the target was asleep
Good video, however, one thing to note for blacksmithing, there is a perk that lets Henry make a tier higher quality weapon than can be bought or found, making high level blacksmithing very important.
Need a video that shows details on the perks from stats and skills Curious to see what has been added or changed in KCD2, especially with scholarship and craftsmanship
Alchemy was smooth in KCD. You'd setup your ingredients and fall into a rhythm, and there was almost 0 wait time. It was a fantastic mini-game. Looking forward to it in KCD 2!
As long as armor functions and works like real armor, in that, it makes you nearly invulnerable while wearing full plate, mail and padded armor. And as long as there will be ACTUAL BLOOD ON THE ENVIRONMENT DURING COMBAT, then I, and a lot of other people will be VERY happy.
I’ve got a question about the potions. Everyone keeps saying “it depends on how closely you follow the recipe” but no one is saying what that means. In KCD1 you either made the potion or you didn’t. So what’s changed? Can you add too much or too little of something and still get the potion you’re after? Can you completely forget an ingredient? Can you over or under heat it? How bad can you screw up and still walk away with at the very least a weak type of potion?
@@ThatAussieBrit19 Ah ok, I thought you already had the access. I have pre-ordered the Gold edition long ago myself so I will get the access and 1st hand experience too. Was just wondering about seeing all of it in advance.
I am really looking forward to alchemy and blacksmithing. Herbalism and alchemy were super OP in the first game, and I've heard the best weapons are those you forge yourself, though I can't imagine that having too much of an impact.
I personally did not get a review copy. I only recently started covering this game and these codes were rolled out before I started I believe. Would love the opportunity to play and cover the game early but if not, then I am very happy to wait until the actual release date!
I’m just wondering because I saw that herbs and other plants for alchemy now spoil, how fast do they spoil and is there a way to slow the spoilage process?
Honestly I don’t think putting so many things into one Attribute-category like Lockpicking/Sneaking/Pickpocketing into just thievery since it really pushes to become a master-of-all-things character very easily, wich isn’t really KCDs philosophy or realistically.
I think sneaking and pickpocketing could and maybe should be the same as pickpocketing is basically just being really sneaky. Also, I doubt there is much useful opportunity to use it in the game like in the first game.
any info on adding potions to water, like in kcd1? if people dont know about this adding a potion to water will eliminate the alcohol, giving you the ability to drink multiple potions and not get drunk. it also would increase the amount of uses a single potion gives u. example adding a single lazarus potion to a stack of 5 water will now give u 5 lazarus potions with no alcohol. this does not work for every potion ie bane. if anyone has info on this returning please lmk. cheers! and great video. also i dont understand why we have to wait so long to play while the game is basically already out. kind of annoying imo
@ lol ok, its you re opinion that its a bad design. idk how you dont understand that. you are not the fact checker of other peoples opinions. even if you took a poll and the majority of people agreed with you its still just an op. a fact can not be even remotely subjective. the earth is round is a fact. the earth is a bad design is an opinion. also just bc you dont like something in a game doesnt mean it needs to be removed, unless you are the creator of the game. all you have to do if you feel that strongly about it is dont engage in it. you are not forced to use water. please never run for office you seem to have communist tendencies.
"This is a realistic medieval RPG" hits at the same time the dude gets slashed full-force across the face and doesn't even get a visible cut, much less flinch, cry out in agony, or start bleeding tf out. KCD2 is going to be great, but I see they still have that classic jank :D
What skill are you most looking forward to levelling in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?
Scholarship. I like an intelligent refined Henry.
Obviously herbalism and alchemy but i will try blacksmithing and i wanted fishing but it looks like it's not in the game.

I like that Thievery is consolidated so you don't have to risk being caught trying to train pickpocketing.

Obviously, I'll be leveling up Drinking to max before I do anything else. See you all in the pub!
Hungry Henry = drink MORE BEER 🍺
True slav
@garudanathanael5257 I come by it honestly via my paternal grandmother. 😁

Top 10 evil things you can do in KCDII:
1. Acquire Pebbles and sell her.
nah…its just realism.
Even Geralt in the witcher books constantly changes his horses he just names all his horses roach haha
Idc how evil everyone's playthrough they want to be but if they hurt Mutt intentionally just for views we're gonna have a problem.
I never thought I would be excited to pick flowers and do laundry in a video game, but here we are. The 4th can't come soon enough!
"It's just over 3 weeks"
Pretty much that's still a month away. Not soon enough 😢
it is 3 weeks away tf

İs there many cumans for cuman killer perk?
Im going to be a thieving, murdering, archer sniping mad man 😂
Stealth archers unite

Hi there, any chance of making a video that would be listing all the perks of all the possible tabs (main level, skills, combat etc.)?
As soon as I have access to the game and am able to make that video, I definitely will be!

I want to be a master blacksmith just like my dad
You got a review copy?
Yep.Warhorse sent the codes one month before release. And prereviews are so positive.ı never seen a bad review untl now.

Yes, in the huts there are drying racks. You dry them out and they last longer like food.

That was bad design. The effects should have been halved or more
@ thats an opinion, not one i share but cool.

@@emptyfueltank You are incorrect
Why did they keep the cutscene for picking up plants
core of KCD, however, gona wait for that first person mod

😂 KCD still has to some goofiness to it
I consider all of this spoilers.
I knew not to click.
But I couldn't help it.
This is the sign of a great game.
Every skill spoiled.
Sad they didn't changed the lockpick mini game... on console it's just unplayable
Seems to be jittering way less. So it should be easier. In the first game the cursor was flying all over the place when you turned the lock.
Idk why people say this I never had an issue with it on console.
Oh my god why cant you just practise it even if you fail you still get XP
Common, no
no it wasnt dude. get good. i locke picked every chest in the whole world 5 times
