@@RhodySeth Cool, I have the 9 as well as the 7. The 9 has great video, but the audio is incredibly horrible. I also thought about the Mini 2 but it's something extra to carry. It's really nice though. Great video!
@@RhodySeth The popping on the 9 is a major known issue. It's nearly ruined 2 of my trip's footage. I have to choose which clips to use because the pops are really bad at times. I have no choice but to buy the media mod now and get an external mic. And I'm not even 100% sure that will fix the issue, although I believe it should, but that's another $100 for the mod and then the mic.
@@RhodySeth Intro is perfect! I bet it was fun incorporating the drone footage. It really gives you a good perspective of the area. On a side note it would be nice if GoPro would address some of these issues. I use the 8 with the media mod but I can’t record in stereo or I get a high pitch ringing. Sometimes randomly the auto stabilization just turns it self off and that’s no bueno because buddy my hands shake lol. Sure I’m preaching to the choir though 😁
@@RhodySeth Yes I’m inspired! I’ve got a holy stone drone I think I’m going to start using some. The only problem is it’s not very compact.. GoPro- It’s almost like you need to be able to reply the footage right after shooting which isn’t convenient at all when you’re trail running or backpacking. IDK they want me to send mine in but I use it like every weekend. So that’s not gonna work.
Love the whites, went last year.. About to hike around lake Winnipesaukee for the first time on vacation so I'm looking forward to it.. Love the video footage as always
The GoPro is notorious for how much it flattens terrain making steep hills look like easy rollers. With the cables and rungs, I'm assuming that's what was going on here. At first glance the inclines didn't look too crazy, but from experience, I've looked down 48% down grades with watered bowels, then seen the captured GoPro video and felt like a pansy. Grafton notch is on our list of places to hit. I've got several trails saved up in that area, and nice to see it's going to be worth it. We really need to get a drone. Love the hiking kilt. Sad there was no song and dance number in this one.
Thanks for sharing!! Was going to knock this one off next…quick question: would this be a safe hike for my dog, he’s an Aussie?…he just did saddleback and the horn and had zero issues. Thanks for the video!
Yeah I should think so. There was that one steep section on the Eyebolt trail where they have a railing to hold onto but I suspect your pooch could find a way up that. Thanks for watching!
It’s so cool to watch the landscape you have over there! It’s the same as here in Sweden, but our highest peak is like 40 meters above sea level 🤪 Nice drone addition! Which one? :)
Nice! Makes me want to add a drone to my arsenal.
Amazing intro!
Awesome video-- you keep upping your game! One of my favorite hikes. That old tower has seen some crazy things, I bet.
Awesome footage! Hero 9? Beautiful area.

Our first as well. Did it in July. Loved it!
It's certainly the easiest of the Maine 4ks for most of us to get to!
Bro your camera work is getting better and better every time! So nice to watch!
Amazing, thanks! Just did Old Speck yesterday.
I really enjoyed that hike. Thanks for watching!
Amazing video. I think the drone footage makes the video stand out even more. Great job!
Thank you! I’m heading back up today for some backpacking and I hope to get some more beautiful footage.

Damn that was amazing! Nice new logo and the drone footage was awesome 👍. Looked like a fun trail. I haven’t hiked in Maine yet but hopefuly soon.
@@RhodySeth Yeah I was thinking that was probably a long drive for you.
Very nice. Is this part of Grafton Loop trail?
@@RhodySeth yup. Its on my too do list for overnight backpacking trip!
Seth, the kilt really goes well with the beard. I like the new into as well. Happy Father's Day!
Thanks for taking this southern AT hiker along for the hike. I can’t wait to see this in person one day soon.
Thanks very much. Good luck in your hike!
beautiful footage as always Seth ! Havent been to the Whites since 2018 ! I need to get back there. Just awesome.

Hi Seth great video herd about you from my brother in law John Roy
Did you get a drone? Awesome work as usual. Can't wait to see the Whites this Fall now that I'm back on the east coast!
